New details have emerged regarding Tammy Sytch's arrest.
On January 13, 2022, TMZ reported that Sytch was arrested in New Jersey for allegedly unlawfully possessing a weapon and making terroristic threats. Records indicate that Sytch, better known as Sunny in the world of wrestling, was hit with 3 charges -- 2 for illegally possessing a weapon (it doesn't appear the alleged weapon was a firearm) and 1 charge for terroristic threats.
Following up on their initial report, TMZ wrote that Sytch allegedly threatened to kill her "intimate partner" with a pair of scissors before she was arrested. According to new court documents, local law enforcement officers say Sytch raised a pair of scissors "in the air towards the victim" and threatened to kill him. An officer supposedly witnessed the incident and added that Sytch "appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol" during the altercation.
The weapons charges are classified as third degree, while the threats charge is fourth degree. If convicted, the weapons charges each carry a possible 3-5 year prison term. The threats charge carries up to a one-year sentence.
Sytch had a 10-day stay in a hospital at the end of 2021. You can learn more by clicking here.
