Report: Terri Runnels Arrested After Bringing A Gun To An Airport in Florida

Terri Runnels was detained in Florida today.

Former WWE Hardcore Champion Terri Runnels was arrested today in Florida at the Tampa International Airport for bringing a loaded Glock 9mm to the airport according to TMZ. The site has confirmed that Runnels was arrested at 7:32 AM EST for carrying a concealed firearm which is a class 3 felony.

The charges that she could face is up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Runnels was detained and is currently in jail and her bond is set at $2,000. Terri Runnels is remembered for her run in WWF as the manager of former WWF Intercontinental Champion and now, All Elite Wrestling's Dustin Rhodes who she was once married to. Runnels last appeared for WWE at the 25th anniversary of RAW in January of 2018 and she was acknowledged along with a handful of names that are considered by the company to be crucial to the success and growth of the women's division.

Runnels has been working with a variety of charity organizations such as Make-a-Wish, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Children's Miracle Network. As more information regarding her arrest comes to the forefront, we will update this article.
