A reported update on Triple H in WWE.
Triple H was forced to take a step back from his responsibilities in WWE after having a cardiac event in 2021. Triple H and since gone on to explain and he now has a defibrillator and will never wrestle again.
In his absence, Shawn Michaels began overseeing WWE NXT and continues to do so to this day. Recently, John Pollock of POST Wrestling reported Triple H, during a recent appearance at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida proclaimed that he was “back.”
A new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that even though Triple H is working regularly again, he is still not as hands on with the WWE NXT promotion and has not been backstage at the TV tapings.
According to the report, everything is still being run by Shawn Michaels and a small creative staff.
Triple H is still hands on for tryouts and there will be another tryout during SummerSlam 2022 weekend.
