Report: Two Independent Wrestlers Offered WWE Contracts But One Denies That Claim

WWE wants two of professional wrestling's best big men.

According to Wrestling Observer, Walter and Keith Lee have been offered WWE contracts which would begin around May and they would report to Orlando which is the location of the WWE Performance Center. Lee has reportedly stopped taking bookings after May. Walter however has not given any indication he is willing to leave his home and join WWE.

Lee has been billed at 6'2" and nearly 300 pounds, has been the most prominent in promotions like Evolve, WWN, and PWG and he currently holds the WWN Championship. While on the independent circuit, Lee has faced off with some of the best wrestlers including wrestlers who are now with NXT.

The Austrian wrestler Walter primarily competes at Germany's Westside Xtreme Wrestling  where he has also been working as a trainer. Wrestling Observer said Walter has told them he has little interest in leaving WXW or Germany for long periods of time.

Update:

Walter took to twitter to say he has not been offered a contract.

If there are any developments in either wrestler's employment status, Fightful Wrestling will be covering the story.
