Vince McMahon still thinks favorably of Baron Corbin.
According to Wrestling Observer, Baron Corbin is still considered main event talent by Vince McMahon. The report said McMahon is the "highest" on Corbin compared to the other wrestlers not currently in the main event scene.
At WrestleMania 34, Corbin was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which he had won in a previous year. The end of the Battle Royal saw him and fellow past winner Mojo Rawley lose to Matt Hardy with the help of Bray Wyatt.
When Corbin won the battle royal at WrestleMania 32, it seemed he had WWE behind him to only see his career put on a slower path after he argued with a WWE doctor about concussions. As a former NFL player, Corbin thought the doctor was downplaying the role of concussions in football in regards to player health. Earlier this year, Corbin admitted he was arrogant when he first came to WWE.
On Smackdown, Corbin did not have a match but he did appear in a WWE video talking about the Superstar Shakeup next week which can send Corbin to Raw.
