If you watched Monday Night Raw, you may have noticed the Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman in-ring promo didn't quite go as planned.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon was upset and "blew a gasket" over the fan reaction towards Lesnar, from the point he walked out, through the segment, all the way until the end.
McMahon was said to have called for the in-ring promo to end abruptly. The plan was for the segment to go on for several minutes, but an angry McMahon nixed the idea.
Lesnar got a positive reaction, which was expected by everyone outside of Vince McMahon apparently, as the show was in Lesnar's hometown. Throughout the segment, Lesnar was cheered and welcomed by "Goldberg Sucks" chants, which he laughed at.
Fightful.com reached out to several employees at WWE, and we were told that while McMahon was disappointed that the segment went the way it did, he wasn't 'livid.' He simply called for it to end.
