Show last appeared on WWE television at Raw Legends Night in January, where he was talked down to by Randy Orton. PWInsider notes that Show was "very open that night about his unhappiness about the situation."

WWE quietly moved Show to the alumni section of its website in the past week.

Show joined WWE in 1999, jumping ship from WCW, where he was a former World Heavyweight Champion. His first appearance came at St. Valentine's Day Massacre when he interfered in the cage match between Steve Austin and Vince McMahon.

Show won multiple World Championships during his time in WWE. He technically headlined WrestleMania 36 against Drew McIntyre as the match closed the show, but didn't air until the following night on WWE Raw. He last wrestled in an unsanctioned match against Orton on the July 20, 2020 episode of WWE Raw.
