Report: WWE And UFC Merged Company To Be Named 'TKO Group'

Going for the TKO.

According to CNBC, an Endeavor spokesperson confirmed that the merged WWE and UFC company will be called "TKO Group Holdings." When the merger was announced on April 3, it was stated tha the group would list on the New York Stock Exchange ticker as "TKO."

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel will be the CEO of TKO Group, while Vince McMahon, WWE’s controlling shareholder, will serve as executive chairman of the new company. Endeavor will own a 51% stake. WWE shareholders will get the remaining 49%.

In a recent SEC filing it was revealed that "New Whale Inc" was the name of the company, but the filing noted the name was expected to change once the merger became official.

The merger is expected to be official by the end of 2023.
