Report: WWE DVDs Canceled In US And Canada Beginning In 2022

Physical media when it comes to WWE will no longer exist.

According to Wrestling DVD Network, WWE DVDs and Blu-rays will no longer be offered in the United States and Canada beginning in 2022. WWE DVDs in Australia will also be halted. New DVDs will reportedly be released in the UK through at least March 2022.

Survivor Series 2021 will be the final US WWE DVD release. It will be available on December 28. A Drew McIntyre DVD is slated to be the final superstar compilation release. It will be available on December 14.

WWE DVDs have been available since 1999 beginning with WrestleMania 15 and a set featuring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The first VHS was available in 1985.

An exact reason for WWE halting DVDs was not reported. WWE content is available on Peacock for fans in the United States and WWE Network internationally.
