WWE will be staying at the ThunderDome for a little while longer.
According to PWInsider, WWE's deal with the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida to do Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-view shows in the ThunderDome has been extended for at least four more weeks. WWE moved into the Amway Center in August after months of doing shows at the WWE Performance Center. The Amway Center is home to WWE's ThunderDome, a set-up that allows WWE to do shows with fans in attendance from a virtual setting.
This month was going to be the last one in the original deal between WWE and the Amway Center as it was set to expire on October 31.
In a prior report from Jeff Allen and Jon Alba, the Amway Center is said to pocket roughly $450,000 for the two months WWE initially was allowed to do shows there.
WWE's next pay-per-view will be Hell In A Cell taking place on October 25. For a look at the matches announced for the show, click here.
