Report: WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle Scheduled For The October 15th Edition Of RAW

Angle is back.

This past Monday on RAW, "Acting General Manager" Baron Corbin held a Battle Royal featuring some "unique" wrestlers and the winner of said Battle Royal would have the chance to lock their name in for the WWE World Cup tournament which will conclude at WWE 'Crown Jewel' on November 2nd. Baron Corbin eliminated nearly every individual in the match but there was one person left and that was "The Conquistador". The Conquistador was dressed in an all-gold body suit but when he stepped into the ring there was nothing amusing about his move-set. The golden Olympic Gold-medalist delivered a german-suplex and an "Angle Slam" to Baron Corbin.

After eliminating Corbin from the Battle Royal, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle revealed himself as "The Conquistador" and in the midst of all the excitement, Kurt Angle qualified for the WWE World Cup and will be joining John Cena, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy in the tourney. According to PWInsider, Angle's storyline "vacation" is up and he will be returning to RAW on Monday in Philadelphia as a regular on-screen character.

The WWE World Cup will roll on next week as it was announced that WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be going one-on-one with the returning Rey Mysterio at SmackDown 1000 and the winner of that bout will qualify for the World Cup.
