Report: WWE SmackDown And USA Network Deal Worth $1.4 Billion Over Five Years

Reported financial details on WWE SmackDown's deal with USA Network.

On Thursday morning, WWE announced that they signed a five-year rights deal with USA Network to bring WWE SmackDown to USA beginning in October 2024.

According to CNBC and the Wall Street Journal, the deal of comes out to an average of $287 million per year, a total value of $1.435 billion over the five years.

Frances Berwick, chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, said about the deal, "It’s a privilege and thrill to continue NBCU’s decades-long partnership with WWE which has helped cement USA Network’s consistent position as the top-rated cable entertainment network in live viewership. With Friday nights on USA, primetime specials on NBC, and the WWE hub on Peacock, we’ll continue to use the power of our portfolio to super-serve this passionate fanbase.”

WWE SmackDown currently airs on FOX and will continue to air on FOX until October 2024 when the show moves to USA Network.

SmackDown aired on USA Network from 2016 to 2019.
