AEW Collision (4/20/2024).

  • Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston, & Mark Briscoe def. Action Andretti & Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) via Pinfall (Backfist into a Spear followed by The Froggy Bow).
    • After the match, The House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King) cut a promo for Copeland, Kingston & Briscoe and said that they would make their match on Dynasty feel like hell, but should not be a problem for all three of them because hell was where the heart was. Kingston was bamboozled after the promo.
  • There was a video package recapping the feud between Swerve Strickland & Samoa Joe ahead of their match on AEW Dynasty for the AEW World Championship.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ Don Callis) def. CJ Esparza via Submission (Torture Rack).
    • After the match, Don Callis cut a promo on behalf of Hobbs. Callis said that he was responsible for booking Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho on the Tokyo Dome, but mentioned that NJPW owed him a favor for that. 6 years later, Callis announced that the favor had been returned as the match between Jon Moxley & Powerhouse Hobbs on the 4/24/2024 edition of AEW Dynamite would be for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
  • There was a video package promoting the match between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson for AEW Dynasty.
  • Chris Jericho cut a promo backstage, where he promised to show that HOOK would teach him a life lesson to be not just a better wrestler, but a better wrestler. Jericho said that he would beat HOOK for the FTW Title and that it would humble HOOK.
  • The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (w/ Jay White) def. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (w/ Billy Gunn) via Pinfall (Sitdown Pin).
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Bryan Danielson was interviewed backstage. Danielson said he was looking forward to facing Will Ospreay on AEW Dynasty and getting revenge on Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher tonight for their actions the past weeks. Will Ospreay interrupted and said he had nothing to do with The Don Callis Family attacking Danielson & the Blackpool Combat Club, but Danielson responded by saying this: "... sure...". Ospreay was visibly frustrated.
  • Toni Storm cut a promo backstage calling out Thunder Rosa. Storm said that if Rosa wanted to uplift women, she should have been a social worker. Storm said that if Rosa wanted to drag her to hell, she better check the address because hell was in her bedroom because she makes love to her demons every night. Storm promised to retain her AEW Women's Title on AEW Dynasty.
  • Bunkhouse Brawl Match: Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli) def. The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita) via Submission (Busaiku Knee followed by a Steel Chain-Assisted LeBelle Lock).
    • Bryan Danielson cut a promo after the match, where he said that the only reason he wrestled a Bunkhouse Brawl match before facing Will Ospreay was because leaving it all on the one inside the ring was his version of heaven. Danielson promised to beat Will Ospreay's ass at AEW Dynasty.
  • Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway were interviewed backstage, where Statlander said they were fired up because of Julia Hart punching Willow with a chain. Hathaway dedicated an FU to Brody King & Hart before Willow called Hart a "bitch" and promised to powerbomb Hart through the ring to win the title.
  • Skye Blue (w/ Julia Hart) def. Leyla Hirsch via Submission (Dragon Sleeper).
  • PAC & FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) via Pinfall (Black Arrow).
