On August 10, 2024, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Collision on TNT from the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas.

The show was headlined by The House of Black facing The Bang Bang Gang in a Trios #1 Contender's Match, with Christian Cage as the special guest referee. The full results are listed below.

  • There was a video package hyping up the Texas Bull Rope Match between Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa, narrated by "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes.

  • There was an 80s-themed vignette for The Outrunners ahead of their match against FTR tonight.
  • FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. The Outrunners (Turbo Magnum & Truth Floyd) via Pinfall (Shatter Machine on Magnum).
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Kip Sabian, but he was interrupted by Nick Wayne. Wayne said he was tired of the games Sabian was playing for the last month before challenging him to a match at the 8/16 edition of AEW Rampage. Wayne promised to take out Sabian like the "loser" his dad was. Extremely harsh words from the Seattle Native.
  • There was a video vignette of MJF defeating & brutalizing Kyle Fletcher on the 8/7 edition of AEW Dynamite.
  • RUSH def. Preston Vance via Pinfall (Bull's Horns).
    • Don Callis watched the match backstage.
    • RUSH continued to attack Vance after the match, hitting the Bull's Horns again. RUSH tried to attack Vance with a cable, but he was stopped by an army of referees.
  • There was a video package of TNT Champion Jack Perry destroying a bunch of televisions showing footage of Darby Allin's career ahead of his match against Darby Allin for the title on AEW All In.
  • AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland appeared in the ring for his Open Challenge. Strickland said he would own Bryan Danielson's legacy at AEW All In, but he wanted a warm-up before then. The challenge was answered by none other than "The Stone Pitbull" Tomohiro Ishii.
  • AEW World Championship - Eliminator Match: Swerve Strickland (c) (w/ Prince Nana) def. Tomohiro Ishii via Pinfall (House Call).
  • Claudio Castagnoli cut a promo backstage, where he said he wanted his title match against Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Title at AEW's debut in Cardiff, Wales with the motivator being taking the title to the Continental Classic.
  • Lexy Nair hosted an in-ring interview with Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway. Nair revealed that Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii issued a challenge against Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway on the AEW All In Zero Hour. Hathaway was bamboozled by this, but Statlander accepted the challenge.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) & Top Flight (Action Andretti, Leila Grey, Darius Martin & Dante Martin), where MxM continued to make fun of Top Flight's style. Lio Rush then appeared and revealed that MxM Collection would face The Martin Brothers next week.
  • Hikaru Shida def. Aleah James via Pinfall (Falcon Arrow).
  • Jim Ross had a sit-down interview with Bryan Danielson, where Danielson reflected on being signed by Ross 24 years ago. Danielson said there were moments he could not understand but was grateful for the people he had met. Danielson spoke about the neck injuries & concussions he had received throughout his career. When asked if he was ready to win the AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland, Danielson said he thought he could in his previous challenges but he failed then; however, Danielson said he was at his mentally strongest at this moment and that would be enough to pull him through.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Hikaru Shida, where she called out Mercedes Moné demanding a shot at the TBS Championship to get a final shot at Wembley.
  • AEW Trios Championships - #1 Contenders Match (Special Guest Referee: Christian Cage): House Of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, & Brody King) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) ended in a Tie.
    • The finish of the match came when Cage hit a Spear on Buddy Matthews, ending the match at the count of ten. The rest of The Patriarchy (Nick Wayne, Killswitch & Mother Wayne) appeared after the match and attacked The House of Black & The Bang Bang Gang, with Cage neutralizing Matthews's leg with a chair, Killswitch hitting a Chokeslam on Austin Gunn through a chair, and Cage hitting the Killswitch onto the chair on Black. The Patriarchy stood tall to end the broadcast.
