AEW Dynamite (11/16/22) Results: Trios Title Match; Saraya, Jon Moxley, MJF, And More Speak

Claudio Castagnoli & Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara

A good back-and-forth match. Chris Jericho was able to use the bat on Bryan Danielson who took a beating for most of the match before getting a hot tag into Claudio. Claudio was able to avoid being hit with the baseball bat and eventually tap Chris Jericho out with a Sharpshooter.

Winners: Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli by submission.

- A Jon Moxley vignette aired

- A vignette aired where Darby Allin and Sting were shown driving after Sting pulled Darby out of a body bag. Jeff Jarrett reminded everyone that he first wrestled Sting 24 years ago while hyping the upcoming tag match on Saturday.

- The Acclaimed's latest music video aired, featuring Paul Wight as Captain Insano.

Swerve Strickland vs. Anthony Bowens

Swerve was extra aggressive in this match. Anthony appeared to hurt his shoulder when Swerve dropped him into the audience. Anthony tried to mount a comeback But ultimately Swerve would get the victory after his Half Nelson Cradle Driver.

Winner: Swerve Strickland by pinfall.

- A vignette previewed Jade Cargill vs. Nyla Rose for this Saturday.

- Tony Schiavone introduces Samoa Joe for an interview. Samoa Joe explains that he would not allow himself to be victimized. Powerhouse Hobbs comes out to confront him. Before they can fight, Wardlow comes out. There is a brief three-person brawl. The locker room empties to separate them. Wardlow is able to hit a Suicide Dive on everyone.

- Britt Baker cut a passionate promo about how she is no longer the person she was 3 years ago and she built this division and became her own role model.

AEW World Trios Championship: Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, & Penta El Zero Miedo) vs. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) and AR Fox

Death Triangle wins after AR Fox gets hit with everyone's finishers and the Lucha Brothers hit tandem Suicide Dives on Top Flight. PAC gets the pinfall victory with The Black Arrow.

Winners and still champions: Death Triangle

- After the match, it's made official that Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks will return and challenge Death Triangle at Full Gear.

AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament: Ethan Page vs. Bandido

Ethan Page tries to hit the Avalanche Ego's Edge but it's reversed into a Rana. Bandido hits a Frog Splash and gets a near fall. Bandido appears to hurt his knee. Ethan hits an Avalanche Body Slam, a Top Rope Shoulder Block, and the Ego's Edge for the victory.

Winner: Ethan Page by pinfall.

- A vignette airs for Luchasaurus vs. Jack Perry.

- Saraya gives her final promo before her match with Britt Baker this Saturday.

AEW Interim Women's World Championship Eliminator: Toni Storm (c) vs. Anna Jay A.S.

Anna Jay A.S. scored a near fall on a Gory Bomb. Storm evades the Queen Slayer and hits Sweet Cheeks Music and eventually locks in the Texas Cloverleaf to make Anna tap out.

Winner and still champion: Toni Storm by submission.

- After the match, Jamie Hayter confronts Toni

- The show closes with a promo between Jon Moxley and Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Max saved MOX from The Firm and then explained why becoming AEW World Champion will mean everything to him. Jon Moxley promised that come this Saturday, the training wheels are off.
