AEW Dynamite (5/22)

  • Preview of Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Mone at AEW Double or Nothing
  • FTW Title Eliminator 3-Way: HOOK vs. Bryan Keith vs. Katsuyori Shibata
  • Kyle O'Reilly vs. Malakai Black
  • Toni Storm & Mariah May vs. Saraya & Harley Cameron
  • Will Ospreay & Orange Cassidy vs. Trent Beretta & Roderick Strong
  • Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn) will appear
  • Jon Moxley will appear
  • Nick Wayne vs. Swerve Strickland
  • Bryan Danielson vs. Satnam Singh
  • Konosuke Takeshita vs. Matt Sydal

AEW Dynamite (5/22/24) Results

* Trent Beretta & Roderick Strong def. Will Ospreay & Orange Cassidy

- Wardlow came out and attacked Ospreay. Undisputed Kingdom attacked Will Ospreay and bloodied him up.

- The Young Bucks tell security to make sure Darby Allin doesn't enter the building. Sonjay Dutt enters the frame and hypes Danielson vs. Singh.

- Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn cut a promo on PAC. PAC interrupts on the video wall and hits the ring with Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix. Death Triangle returns and attacks The Bang Bang Gang. PAC lays out the challenge for the AEW Trios Titles on Sunday.

* FTW Title Eliminator 3-Way: HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata def. Bryan Keith

- HOOK and Shibata had Keith in two submissions, Red Rum and a Heel Hook. Keith tapped to both so the match at AEW Double or Nothing with Jericho is a 3-Way.

- Preview of Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Mone at AEW Double or Nothing plays

- A preview of Jon Moxley vs. Konosuke Takeshita airs.

* Konosuke Takeshita def. Matt Sydal

- Jon Moxley appears and hits Takeshita with a microphone.

- The Young Bucks running to Swerve Strickland backstage as they continue to hand out flyers letting people know that Darby is banned from the building.

* Swerve Strickland def. Nick Wayne

- Luchasaurus attacked Strickland from behind after the match. Strickland fights back and chases after Christian Cage. Christian carjacks someone and attempts to leave but is blocked by a car that the returning Prince Nana is driving. Strickland drops Christian on the hood of a car with a DDT. He tries to strike him in the head with a steel chair but Christian gets up and runs away.

* Malakai Black def. Kyle O'Reilly

- After the match, the lights go out on Black and he's drenched in a bloodbath. On the video wall, Adam Copeland appears and tells Black to be careful what he wishes for.

* Toni Storm & Mariah May def. Saraya & Harley Cameron

Serena Deeb appears after the match and attacks Storm, locking her in a Half Boston Crab

- Austin Gunn & Colton Gunn challenge the Lucha Bros to a match on AEW Saturday Collision and if the Lucha Bros win, the Trios match at the pay-per-view officially becomes for the World Trios Titles.

* Bryan Danielson def. Satanam Singh by DQ.

- Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh attack Danielson for the DQ. The Young Bucks appear but Danielson fights them all off. Okada comes out and Jack Perry blindsides Danielson. On the video wall, it is shown that Tony Khan is back and he drives Darby Allin to work and that's nothing because Darby is carrying with him a freaking blowtorch. Nick Jackson goes through a table and Danielson and Darby stand tall thanks to the help of a flamethrower.
