AEW Dynamite (6/12/24) Results

- Swerve Strickland kicks off the show. He says that Will Ospreay wasn't enough of an assassin in his match against Roderick Strong and warns him that he better bring the Assassin to Forbidden Door because there's a reason he's called Killshot. He does credit Will for being a fighting champion unlike the EVPs, who then come out to interrupt this.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, along with Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada, announced the Blood & Guts Match for an unannounced date. They want Strickland to join them. He turns them down. They threaten to beat him up. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn make the save. Christopher Daniels comes out and separates all of them so that Jack Perry can fight Dustin Rhodes in the TNT Title Qualifier.

* AEW TNT Title Qualifying Match: Jack Perry def. Dustin Rhodes

- Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, and Orange Cassidy cut a promo talking to Renee Young. Mark Briscoe cuts a banger fired-up promo, but Orange Cassidy is still sad about life

* RUSH def. Deonn Rusman

- RUSH attacks this poor schlub after the match and he is saved by Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who has his fist taped, and they brawl. They will fight next week in the opening match with no commercial breaks.

* Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita def. Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly & Mark Briscoe

- The heels continue beating up the faces. Willow Nightingale's music hits but she's actually tossed out from the entranceway by Statlander and gets beaten up on stage.

- Renee Paquette checks in with Rey Fenix. She says he told her earlier that he is a one-of-one.

- Shingo Takagi vignette reveals he will be part of the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament

- Christopher Daniels announced that Matthew and Nicholas Jackson will be in an Eliminator Match next week. So will Okada. All seconds are banned from both matches. Their opponents were not announced.

* Samoa Joe & HOOK (w/ Katsuyori Shibata) def. The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ari Daivari w/ Smart Mark Sterling)

- Joe and HOOK attacked the athletes before their entrance. Shibata was pretending to be a cameraman.

- Stephanie Vaquer vignette airs.

* TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone (c) def. Zeuxis

- Mina Shirakawa vignette plays. Toni Storm and Mariah are backstage. Mariah informs her that Mina is coming back next week and wants to do a contract signing which she will host.

- TV Time with Chris Jericho sees him invite Private Party. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen end up embarrassing Jericho after he tries to show them how to properly climb the ropes. Zay hits Jericho with a Swanton, Quen hits a Shooting Star Press.

- A vignette hypes Naito vs. Moxley at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

- Bang Bang Gang challenges the House of Black to a Trios Match on this Saturday's Collision.

* Daniel Garcia def. Nick Comoroto (w/ Jacoby Watts)

- MJF and Ospreay were shown watching Daniel do his thing

- PAC vignette. He says he feels more like a bitch than a bastard and he enters the Owen Hart Tournament. He says he'll be damned if he doesn't win the World Title at some point

* AEW International Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Rey Fenix

- Ospreay hits the Swerve Stomp before the win. He stares down with Swerve Strickland after the match and briefly takes the world championship belt from his hands and puts it over his shoulder. Strickland threatens to put him in the grave.
