AEW Dynamite: Beach Break (7/3/24) Results: Mercedes Mone, Britt Baker, More Appear; Will Ospreay Defends

AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

This week's episode continues action in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament as PAC takes on Bryan Danielson, and Jeff Jarrett faces a Wild Card handpicked by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. Mercedes and Britt Baker are also scheduled to appear.

AEW Dynamite: Beach Break (7/3/24) Results

* Men's Owen Hart Foundation Semifinal: Bryan Danielson def. PAC.

- Willow Nightingale cut a promo on her upcoming match with Kris Statlander.

- Highlights play of the ladder match from this past Sunday. Mark Briscoe has been in the ring and declares himself the first member of Team AEW for Blood & Guts. He gets assaulted from behind by Jack Perry. Perry gets assaulted by Kyle O'Reilly. Kazuchika Okada comes out to attack him. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson tried to join the fun, but The Acclaimed stopped them.

- Renee Paquette is backstage with Timeless Toni Storm, who is clutching Mariah May in her bosom. Paquette wants to know about May's matchup against Hikaru Shida on Rampage in the Owen Hart Tournament Semi-finals. Storm hypes up May. Toni let May say, "Chin Up, Tits Out, Watch for the Shoe."

* Women's Owen Hart Foundation Semifinal: Willow Nightingale def. Kris Statlander

Britt Baker came out and revealed to the world that she suffered a mini-stroke that kept her sidelined. But she's cleared now, and she's looking forward to the future. Mercedes Mone arrives, and she's greeted by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. They set her up for a celebration, which completely interrupts Baker. Baker challenges Mercedes to a match at Wembley Stadium. Mercedes tells her to go to the back of the line and that there's a price to pay when you mess with Mercedes Mone.

Backstage, Will Ospreay tells Don Callis that he no longer wants to be in the family. Don allows him to leave but tells him that he might come back to him for a favor. Kyle Fletcher leaves with Don.

- Chris Jericho comes out and ejects Taz from commentary so that he can sit in for the next match.

* Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata def. Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona

- Big Bill and Brian Keith assault the victors from behind. Keith Pillmanizes Shibata's arm, and it seems like he was never injured. Big Bill assaults Samoa Joe with a chair. Jericho hits HOOK with brass knuckles,

* Men's Owen Hart Foundation Quarterfinal: Adam Page def. Jeff Jarrett

- Backstage, the Learning Tree attacks HOOK, and Chris Jericho throws a fireball into his eyes.

- Backstage Renee Paquette tries to talk to Adam Page. Matthew and Nicholas try to gaslight Page but he says he's not their puppet anymore and he no longer needs them. They try to blow it off like nothing is wrong.

* AEW International Championship: Will Ospreay (c) def. Daniel Garcia

- After the match, Garcia is emotional when Maxwell Jacob Friedman turns heel on him, bloodying him up with the dynamite diamond ring because he refused to use the ring during the match. Daddy Magic tries to help, but he gets bloody as well. Ospreay has to run back and make the save.
