- Excalibur, Chris Jericho & Jim Ross welcomed the audience to the broadcast before quickly transitioning into the opening match.

Grand Slam Tournament of Champions Wild Card Match.

Sammy Guevara (w/ Tay Melo) vs. Darby Allin.

The two began the match locking up before Allin leaned Guevara in the corner. The two continued to maintain the lock up before Guevara slapped Allin in the face. Allin slapped Guevara twice before getting Guevara in a lateral press for a near fall. Allin got a headlock takedown on Guevara before Guevara flipped over Allin. Allin hit a jack kife cover on Guevara for a near fall. Allin got a back stretch on Guevara before locking in a Fujiwara arm bar on Guevara, who got a corner break. Darby hit two coffin splashes in the corner on Guevara, but Guevara hit a rope-assisted enziguri kick and a chop on Allin. Guevara & Allin got to the top rope, with Guevara hitting a superplex on Allin. Guevara hit a second suplex on Allin and attempted a third, but Allin leaned each other out the ring. This lead to Allin hitting a suplex on Guevara on the ringside floor. Allin went for a Tope Suicida, but Melo got in the middle of the way. Allin still went for it anyway, but Guevara turned it into a cutter on Allin on the ringside floor. Back in the ring, Guevara got Allin in a lateral press for a near fall. Guevara got Allin in a knee-assisted headlock before he stomped Allin's neck onto the mat. Guevara got Allin in the Lionheart pin for a near fall. Allin gauged Guevara's eyes, but Guevara laid in the back strikes on Allin. Allin flipped out of a back suplex, but Guevara hit a superkick on Allin. Guevara landed on his feet off a Shooting Star Press, but Allin hit a Code Red on Guevara for a near fall. Outside of the ring, Melo distracted Allin long enough to allow Guevara to hit a superkick on Allin. Melo and Guevara kissed, but Allin hit a Tope Suicida on Guevara from out of nowhere. Allin got Guevara in a disarmer arm lock before taking off Guevara's ring and stomping Guevara's hand. Guevara hit a high knee strike on Allin before putting the ring back on and flicking off the crowd. Guevara Guevara hit a double-springboard cutter on Allin for a near fall, with Melo looking slightly disappointed at that outcome. Guevara climbed to the top rope and went for a coffin drop, but Allin evaded and climbed to the top rope. Anna Jay A.S. distracted the referee, allowing Guevara to hit a low blow and a powerbomb on Allin into a skateboard. Guevara hit the GTH on Allin for the pinfall win. He will face Jon Moxley on the next round of the AEW Championship Tournament.

Winner: Sammy Guevara (w/ Tay Melo).

- There was a video package recapping Maxwell Jacob Friedman's return to Dynamite, saying that he may see the AEW Championship as a bargaining chip. The video ended with MJF saying that he will become the AEW Championship because he is "better than you and you know it".

- ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe walked tot he ring to cut a promo, saying that it felt oh so good to be back in AEW. Joe said that he owed the crowd more violence in the near future before saying he is open for business. Mark Sterling interrupted Joe with Tony Nese & Josh Woods, with Sterling saying that Nese has more abs than Joe has matches in AEW, to which Joe shook his head. Sterling said that former ROH Pure Champion Josh Woods deserved a title shot, which Joe agreed to this. Joe said that Woods deserved a shot at the title right here right now. Woods right ready to fight, but Sterling then said that they will instead do it on Rampage next week.

- Miro called God a Fraud for taking Malakai Black away from his vengeance (As reported by Fightful Select). saying that his gold (TNT Championship) was on weaker men. He then said God should admit that he failed and belt The Redeemer now.

Serena Deeb vs. Madison Rayne.

Deeb and Rayne began the match locking up, with Deeb getting Rayne in a headlock before hitting a double leg takedown on Rayne, but Rayne responded with a double up kick on Deeb before the two stood across each other. Rayne and Deeb did a Greko-Roman Lock up, with Deeb getting Rayne in a wrist lock, but Rayne reversed it with an arm drag. Rayne hit Deeb with a back-body drop for a near fall, with Deeb being hooked. Deeb pushed Rayne, to which Deeb responded with a lariat and a neck breaker on Rayne for a near fall. Rayne got Deeb in a roll-up for a near fall. Rayne hit an enziguri kick on Deeb before laying in chops and a forearm strike. Rayne hit a sliding lariat on Deeb for a near fall. Rayne got Deeb in a Guillotine Choke, but Deeb slammed Rayne onto the mat before locking in the Serenity Lock for the submission win.

Winner: Serena Deeb.

- Lexy Nair interviewed TBS Champion Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan & Leila Grey. Cargill said that the fans should not be surprised that she beat Athena before saying that anyone that wanted a shot can get it but will fail.

- Lexi Nair interviewed Powerhouse Hobbs backstage saying that he put his ass 6-feet deep and now he can open the Book of Hobbs and show the world why he is the Mon-STAR Powerhouse Hobbs.

- Mark Henry Interviewed Claudio Castagnoli & Dax Hardwood, with William Regal saying that he knew every trick in Hardwood's book. Claudio said that Dax will win singles titles, but not against him. Dax pointed out that he was the underdog in the match before saying that he will do anything to win the title, even if it meant fighting Regal & Claudio, which Regal looked happy to hear.

ROH World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Claudio Castagnoli (c) (w/ William Regal) vs. Dax Hardwood.

The two shook hands in adherence to the code of honor before locking up. The two broke the lock-up before locking up again, with Claudio getting Dax in a headlock. Claudio then hit a shoulder tackle on Dax for a near fall before locking in another side headlock. Dax broke the hold and went for a leapfrog, but Claudio caught him in mid-air and attempted a body slam, but Dax reversed it with an O'Connor Roll for a near fall, followed by an Inside Cradle for a near fall. Dax went for a jack-knife cover, but Claudio bridged it and attempted a backslide before hitting a forearm strike on Dax. Dax & Claudi exchanged strikes before Caludio hit an uppercut on Dax. Claudio hit a second uppercut, but Dax responded with a short-hand lariat on Claudio. Dax went for a suplex, but Claudio suplexed himself and Dax out of the ring. Dax and Claudio got back in the ring, with Claudio hitting another uppercut on Dax. Dax hit three chops on Claudio and a Northern Lights Suplex on Claudio for a near fall. Dax hit a snap-mare on Claudio, but Claudio reversed it with a hammerlock crucifix pin for a near fall. Dax got a guillotine on Claudio before the two leaned into the ring corner. Claudio hit a wrist lock/ Irish Whip onto the corner before the commercial break. Back from the break, Claudio t& Dax exchanged strikes again before Claudio tossed Dax into the bottom part of the ring post, sending him out of the ring. Claudio hit a sliding dropkick on Dax to the barricade. Back in the ring, Dax and Caludio exchanged strikes again before Claudio locked Dax in an abdominal stretch, but Dax broke the hold with a hip toss, but Claudio responded with a vicious lariat on Dax for a near fall. Claudio hit another uppercut on Dax before placing Dax in the top rope. Claudio tried to climb to the top rope, but Dax dropped him with a series of chops on Claudio before hitting a diving headbutt from the top rope on Claudio for a near fall. Claudio hit a sunset flip on Dax, but Dax caught him and hit him with a piledriver on Claudio for a near fall. Dax climbed to the top rope again, but Claudio hit another vicious uppercut on Dax. Claudio hit a huge superplex on Dax for a near fall. Outside of the ring, Dax hit multiple chops on Claudio. Back in the ring, Dax went for a sunset bomb on Claudio, but Claudio pulled him up. Dax then hit a brainbuster on Claudio for a near fall, with Claudio rolling out of the ring. Outside of the ring, Claudio catapulted Dax onto the ring post before he got back in the ring. Dax got back in the ring at the count of nine, but Claudio got a near fall on Dax before stomping him down. Claudio hit two short-hand lariats on Dax for a near fall. Claudio hit another short-hand lariat on Dax. Dax got up and started exchanging strikes with Claudio before Dax got a backside on Claudio for a near fall. Claudio hit a boot on Dax but Dax responded with a slingshot Liger bomb on Claudio for a near fall. Dax placed Claudio back on the top rope before attempting a super back suplex, but Claudio reversed it in mid-air with a cross body for a near fall, which Dax rolled immediately with a lateral press for a near fall on Claudio. Claudio hit multiple uppercuts on Dax before hitting the Giant Swing on Dax followed by the Sharpshooter on Dax, quickly transitioning into the LeBelle Lock. Dax rolled through and locked in a Sharpshooter of his own on Claudio, but Claudio broke the hold by hitting two up kicks, elbow strikes and downward elbow strikes on Dax. Claudio locked in the Sharpshooter for a second time, with Dax having nowhere to go and no choice but to tap out, with Claudio retaining the ROH Championship. William Regal, Dax Hardwood, and Claudio Castagnoli shook hands to end the broadcast after an extremely competitive match.
