-Austin Aries comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about his title defense at Slammiversary this past weekend and says that the IMPACT World Championship signifies that he is the best in the world and that he will take on anyone regardless of what promotion they belong to. Eddie Edwards then comes out and attacks Austin with his stick he got from Tommy Dreamer.
Taiji Ishimori vs Petey Williams
They exchange wrist locks before Petey hits a drop toe hold that sends Taiji into the middle rope before hitting a dropkick, then Petey hits a code breaker for a quick two count. Petey puts Taiji in the tree of woe before Taiji comes back with a springboard meteora. Petey comes back with a German suplex and a tilt-a-whirl side Russian leg sweep before Taiji hits a springboard kick. Taiji hits a shotgun dropkick and running knees in the corner before hitting the Bloody Cross for a near fall. Petey hit a powerbomb before Taiji counters the Canadian Destroyer, then Petey locks in a sharpshooter, but Taiji rolls him up for a near fall.
Taiji then hits Petey with a DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner: Taiji Ishimori defeats Petey Williams via pinfall with a DDT.
Rebel vs Tessa Blanchard
Tessa drops Rebel repeatedly as soon as the match starts before Rebel hits a running back elbow in the corner. Tessa sends Rebel into the ropes before dropkicking her and misses a dropkick in the corner before Rebel hits a sit-out face buster for a quick two count. Tessa then catches Rebel up top before yanking her off of the top turnbuckle and down to the mat. Tessa then hits a hammer lock DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard defeats Rebel via pinfall with a hammer lock DDT.
-After the match Scarlett Bordeaux is interviewed about signing with the company.
Johnny Impact vs Trevor Lee
They lock up before backing into the corner for a clean break, then Johnny hits a deep arm drag before dropping Lee with a leg lariat. Johnny gets distracted by Caleb at ringside before Lee attacks from behind for a quick two count and whips him into the corner. Lee stomps on Impact on the corner before sending him out onto the apron, then knocks him to the floor before rolling him back into the ring for a quick two count. Lee stomps on Impact while playing to the crowd before Johnny hits an enzuigiri and a springboard corkscrew cross body. They exchange forearms until Impact dropkicks Lee and hits a springboard enzuigiri for a near fall.
Johnny counters a German suplex into a shining wizard before Caleb drags Lee out of the ring when Johnny goes for Starship Pain and hits a diving cross body to the outside. Once back in the ring Johnny hits Starship Pain for the pin and the win.
Winner: Johnny Impact defeats Trevor Lee via pinfall with Starship Pain.
-We get a match between the Young Bucks and Motor City Machine Guns on the Global Wrestling Network.
-We get a video package for Killer Kross before we cut to the OGz talking about LAX and holding the Impact Tag Team Championship they stole from them at Slammiversary.
X-Division Championship Match
Brian Cage (c) vs Matt Sydal
Matt tries for a crucifix pin, but Brian is too strong before they end up out of the ring and Brian powerbombs Matt into the ring post as we go to commercial.
Matt sends Brian out onto the ramp as we come back to the action before hitting a meteora off of the top. Matt gets Brian back in the ring and locks in a unique submission before Brian comes back with a series of forearms only for Matt to take him down. Matt drops Brian in a heap in the corner before Brian comes back with a huricanrrana and a lariat before hitting a suplex for a quick two count. Matt gets a near fall off of a sunset pin before hitting a splash off of the top to the back of Brian for a quick two count. Brian hits a dragon screw into a release German suplex before hitting a 619 for a near fall.
Matt counters a suplex into a snap huricanrrana for a near fall before Brian hits an F5 for another near fall. Matt then rocks Brian with a bicycle knee and a superkick before Brian turns him inside out and hits the Drill Claw for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brian Cage retains his X-Division Championship by defeating Matt Sydal via pinfall with the Drill Claw.
