Hey Fight Fans, hopefully you're having a good weekend and are ready for IMPACT'S first pay-per-view event of 2021 with Hard to Kill!
Pre-show
- Scott D'Amore joins the commentary team to break down the main card before we get a video package promo by Knockouts champion Deonna Purrazzo ahead of her defending against Taya Valkyrie later tonight.
- The panel talk about our six man tag team match main event between the IMPACT World champion Rich Swann and Motor City Machine Guns against Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. The panelists talk about how they want team IMPACT to win the match and send Kenny and The Bullet Club packing from IMPACT Wrestling.
- We come back from the break to the panel talking about the Barbed Wire Massacre match between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards before we get a video package for the blood feud between the two that has lasted for over two years. We then get a promo by Sami against barbed wire and a chain link fence as we go to commercial.
- We come back to a video package for the X-Division Championship Triple Threat Match between the champion Manik, Chris Bey, and Rohit Raju.
- We go to the ring to D Lo Brown and Matt Striker before Brian Myers and Josh Alexander come out to the ring for our pre-show match.
Brian Myers vs Josh Alexander
Josh takes Brian down onto the mat before they exchange wrist locks and Josh drops Brian before Brian comes back with right hands. Josh misses a running cross body through the ropes before hitting it the second time and Brian knocks him off of the top turnbuckle and down onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back to Brian in control of Josh on the mat with a rear chin lock before beating on him until Josh comes back with a back elbow into a boot and an ankle lock. Josh hits a bridging German suplex for a near fall before Brian hits a suplex for a near fall into a falcon arrow for a second consecutive near fall. Josh rocks Brian with several discus forearms and locks in a second ankle lock before Brian blinds Josh with his own head gear. Brian then turns Josh inside out with a lariat for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brian Myers defeats Josh Alexander via pinfall.
- We go to the panel where Ace Austin and Madman Fulton have joined them where the Super X Cup Tournament winner talks about winning the tournament and where he's wanting to go in 2021 as we go to commercial.
- We get a video package for our six man main event and the weeks leading up to the match.
Main Show
Decay (Rosemary & Crazzy Steve) vs Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb
Kaleb and Steve start the match off by exchanging head locks and grappling on the mat before Rosemary and Steve take turns biting Kaleb. Steve drops Kaleb in mid air before Tenille comes in and Rosemary hits her with a sidewalk slam before Kaleb pulls Rosemary down by her hair from the apron. Rosemary sends Tenille into Kaleb before Steve hits a flat liner for two before Kaleb comes back and he and Tenille isolate Steve until he gets the hot tag to Rosemary. Rosemary spears Tenille and rocks Kaleb with strikes before Kaleb superkicks her and the referee stops Tenille from spraying Steve with hairspray. Steve then mists Tenille before Rosemary mists Kaleb and Steve hits a diving tornado DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner: Decay defeat Kaleb and Tenille Dashwood via pinfall.
- D Lo and Matt run down the card for tonight's event before we go back to the ring for our next match between Tommy Dreamer, Cousin Jake and Deaner, Joe Doering, and Eric Young.
Old School Rules Six-Man Tag Team Match
The six men brawl before it's just Jake and the former Cody in the ring where Jake beats on Deaner who rolls out of the ring to escape. Joe and Rhino exchange in the ring before all six men brawl at ringside and Tommy and EY get back into the ring. Tommy hits EY out of the air with a baking sheet before Rhino, Tommy, and Jake bring chairs into the ring and hit Joe across the back before he punches a chair away. Joe hits Tommy with a running cross body before Joe, EY, and Deaner stomp on their opponents and set chairs together before Deaner drops Jake across the chairs that don't move. They hit a tower of doom before Joe chokeslams Rhino and breaks a kendo stick before Rhino sends him into the post before Tommy pours thumb tacks on the mat.
Tommy counters a piledriver by Eric and drops him onto the tacks before Rhino Gores him and Jake hits Deaner with a powerslam for a near fall. EY then hits Jake with a piledriver for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eric Young, Deaner and Joe Doering defeat Cousin Jake, Tommy Dreamer, and Rhino via pinfall.
- Backstage Moose sits with Rich Swann and Chris Sabin as they get ready for their match tonight before he decides to join them and take Alex Shelley's place.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament Final Match
Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz vs Havok & Nevaeh
Nevaeh and Havok immediately attack their opponents and send Kiera out of the ring before doubling up on Tasha. Kiera gets the hot tag and hits Nevaeh with a neckbreaker before Havok takes out both Kiera and Nevaeh with running boots in the corner. Havok misses a leg drop before Tasha and Kiera hit a double basement dropkick for two before Tasha superkicks Havok for two before Havok fights out of the corner. Havok hits Kiera and Tasha with a double fall away slam before getting the hot tag to Nevaeh who clotheslines Tasha and Kiera. Havok then hits a double powerbomb before Tasha hits a springboard cutter for a near fall before Tasha hits Nevaeh with a fisherman's suplex for the pin and the win.
Winner: Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan defeat Nevaeh and Havok via pinfall to become the new Knockouts Tag Team champions.
- Backstage Taya meets with Rosemary and Crazzy Steve ahead of her challenging Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship.
Ace Austin (w/ Madman Fulton) vs Matt Cardona
Matt goes right after Ace and sends him out of the ring before dropping him face first across the apron and hitting a swinging neckbreaker into a tope. Back in the ring Ace rips Matt off of the top turnbuckle when he's distracted by Fulton who gets on the apron. Ace goes up top and misses a Swanton Bomb before Matt hits a flap jack and a running clothesline in the corner before hitting a running boot in the corner. Fulton then comes in and attacks Matt for the disqualification.
Winner: Matt Cardona defeats Ace Austin via disqualification.
- After the match Matt comes back and clears the ring of Ace and Fulton.
X-Division Championship Triple Threat Match
Manik (c) vs Chris Bey vs Rohit Raju
Manik takes out Chris before Rohit lays into Manik with strikes in the corner and Chris sends Manik out of the ring before focusing on Rohit. Rohit and Chris exchange strikes until Rohit hits a jumping flat liner before Rohit hits Manik with a blue thunderbomb before Manik locks in a variation of a Cloverleaf. Rohit comes back in and Manik suplexes Rohit while holding onto the Cloverleaf on Chris before hitting Rohit with a wrecking ball dropkick. Chris traps Manik in the ropes and hits a diving elbow drop before Rohit powerbombs him onto the edge of the apron before Rohit tries to rip the mask off of Manik. Rohit gets the mask off of Manik before he's revealed to be wearing face paint and hits Rohit with a DDT before Chris hits him with a cutter in midair.
Chris hits Rohit and Manik with a double Art of Finesse for a near fall before rocking Rohit with a kick. Chris sets Rohit on the top turnbuckle before Manik hits a springboard hurricanrana to Rohit for a near fall before Manik counters a tombstone into one of his own. Rohit gets a near fall before he and Manik exchange strikes until Manik hits a springboard spike DDT to Chris before hitting a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Manik hits the Mamba Splash for a near fall before Rohit goes up top and front slams Manik onto the mat before hitting Chris with a diving stomp. Rohit then locks in a cross face that Chris breaks before taking out Chris and Manik rolls Rohit up out of nowhere for the pin and the win.
Winner: Manik retains his X-Division Championship by defeating Rohit Raju and Chris Bey via pinfall.
- Backstage Eddie Edwards makes his wife Alisha promise she won't interfere in the Barbed Wire Massacre match he's having against Sami later tonight.
Knockouts Championship Match
Deonna Purrazzo (c) (w/ Kimber Lee & Susan) vs Taya Valkyrie (w/ Rosemary & Crazzy Steve)
Taya takes Deonna down and punches her before Deonna rolls out of the ring and Rosemary and Kimber brawl at ringside before Steve backs Susan down. Steve accidentally hits the referee who ejects everyone not in the match before Taya takes control once Deonna rolls back inside. Deonna stomps the elbow of Taya and focuses on her now injured arm to set up the Fujiwara armbar before Taya clotheslines her for two. Deonna locks in a half crab before Taya gets to the ropes for the break and Deonna kicks her legs out for two. Deonna locks in an ankle lock before breaking the hold and Taya comes back with a knee and chops into a spear for two.
Taya hits a back suplex before locking in an STF before Deonna gets to the ropes for the break. They then run the ropes before Deonna hits a head scissors into a Fujiwara armbar before locking in a double armbar for the verbal submission and the win.
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo retains her Knockouts Championship by defeating Taya Valkyrie via referee stoppage due to verbal submission.
- Backstage John E. Bravo meets with Acey Romero before we get a video package for our next match between Ethan Page and his alter ego The Karate Man.
Ethan Page vs The Karate Man
The two have a Street Fighter style fight in front of a green screen where they knock each other around the world to various places. They eventually end up in Japan where Karate Man finishes Ethan when he rips his heart out.
Winner: The Karate Man defeats Ethan Page via Fatality.
- Backstage Don Callis meets with Moose, Moose rejecting Don's proposal to side with The Bullet Club.
Barbed Wire Massacre Match
Eddie Edwards vs Sami Callihan
The two lock up before exchanging strikes and Eddie boots Sami into the barbed wire wrapped around the ropes before putting barbed wire around his head. Eddie places a board with barbed wire on the mat before Sami slides it out of the ring and Eddie beats on him in mount. Sami traps Eddie in the ropes and clotheslines him before Eddie hits a suicide dive through a barbed wire board. Sami lies a board across the back of Eddie and hits a diving elbow off of the apron before busting him open and Sami hangs Eddie across the top rope covered in barbed wire. Eddie comes back with a backpack stunner before hitting Sami with a chair wrapped in barbed wire into a blue thunderbomb onto the chair for two.
Eddie accidentally runs into the side of the cage with barbed wire on one side of the ring before they drop each other with rounds of barbed wire. Sami and Eddie grab a kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire, and a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, respectively before they hand each other their signature weapon and duel. Sami knocks Eddie off of the top and drops him throat first across the chain that was holding the weapons above the ring before Sami sets a barbed wire board across two chairs. Sami hits an avalanche piledriver through the barbed wire board for a near fall before hitting Eddie with a chair and goes to hit him with a barbed wire baseball bat, but Eddie low blows him. Eddie then hits the Boston Knee Party for a near fall before hitting an Emerald Flowsion onto the barbed wire chair for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eddie Edwards defeats Sami Callihan via pinfall.
- Alisha comes out to the stage after the match and leaves with her husband.
Six-Man Tag Team Match
Rich Swann, Moose & Chris Sabin vs The Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) (w/ Don Callis)
Karl and Chris kick things off for their respective teams with Karl backing Chris into the corner for a clean break before the two exchange wrist locks and arm drags. Karl rocks Chris before they take each other down with arm drags and side headlock take over before Moose and Doc come in. The two try to knock each other over before they exchange strikes until Kenny and Rich enter the match for the first time tonight. Kenny beats Rich down and chokes him when Moose and Chris inadvertently distract the referee before Karl comes back in and they run the until Rich drops Karl. Rich mocks Kenny and tags in Chris who knocks Doc and Kenny off of the apron before they triple team Karl with Moose.
Karl backs Chris into the corner where he's beaten down and choked by Doc and Kenny in the corner before Kenny hits a backbreaker. Bullet Club chain together frequent tags and offense until Chris gets the hot tag to Rich as Kenny gets the tag on the opposite side. Rich superkicks Karl and hits Kenny with a frankensteiner onto Karl as Moose takes out Doc at ringside before Kenny is sent out of the ring. Chris and Rich double up on Karl before they rock Doc with a double superkick and hit stereo topes before Kenny blocks a frog splash. Karl whips Rich sternum first into the corner before BC take turns scoop slamming Rich before Rich blocks one by Kenny who hits a leg lariat.
BC hit a triple splash onto Rich for two before Rich comes back with a Pele kick and tags in Moose who takes out all three members of BC. Moose, Rich, and Chris hit Kenny with a triple kick in the corner before Moose hits a discus clothesline for two before BC triple team Chris. Kenny hits Chris with a gut wrench sit-out powerbomb for two before calling for the V-Trigger that Moose prevents. Everyone hits a move before Kenny drops Rich with a V-Trigger and goes up top before Moose hits a Spanish fly off of the top. Chris gets two off of a Driver for a near fall that Karl breaks up before Doc comes in and drops Chris with a kick before he and Karl hit a shining wizard into a TKO for two.
Chris counters the Magic Killer and gets the hot tag to Rich who exchanges strikes with Kenny before Rich counters the One Winged Angel into two poison rana. Rich hits a 450 for a near fall before Doc and Karl hit Rich with the Magic Killer for a near fall that Moose breaks up before Kenny hits Moose with a V-Trigger. Kenny then hits Rich with a V-Trigger into the One Winged Angel for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Bullet Club defeat Rich Swann, Chris Sabin, and Moose via pinfall.
- After the match Bullet Club celebrate and leave up the apron as we go off the air.
