Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV!
- We open tonight's show with a recap of Christian Cage defeating Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World title at this past week's AEW: Rampage.
- Newly crowned IMPACT World champion Christian Cage is about to be introduced before Eddie Edwards and W.Morrisey comes out to ringside brawling before Eddie's saved by Sami Callihan with a bat before Sami gets on the mic and says to start the damned show before we get the opening crawl.
Chris Sabin & Sami Callihan vs Moose & Ace Austin
Ace and Sami start the match off before Sami and Chris isolate Ace and keep him from tagging in until Chris slides out of the ring and pulls Moose off of the apron and Ace dropkicks Chris once he's back inside for two as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Moose in control of Chris until he gets the hot tag to Sami who knocks Moose off of the apron and stomps Ace in the corner before turning Ace inside out and Moose takes him out before Chris hits a diving tornado DDT and Sami hits Ace with a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Chris then tags himself in before hitting Ace with a falcon arrow for the pin and the win.
Winner: Chris Sabin and Sami Callihan defeat Ace Austin and Moose via pinfall.
- We get a backstage promo by the Good Brothers targeted at the Guerrillas of Destiny and Violent By Design ahead of Doc's match against Joe Doering later tonight as we go to commercial.
Shera (w/ Rohit Raju) vs Matt Cardona (w/ Chelsea Green)
The two exchange head locks and shoulder blocks before Matt sends Shera through the ropes and hits a wrecking ball dropkick into a flipping senton before Rohit distracts Matt and allows Shera to capitalize as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Shera now in control of Matt back in the ring until Matt comes back with a missile dropkick into a running clothesline in the corner and Shera hits a choke breaker into a powerslam for a near fall before Rohit distracts Matt and Chelsea slaps Rohit before Matt pins Shera with Radio Silence for the win.
Winner: Matt Cardona defeats Shera via pinfall.
- We get the return of Locker Room Talk with special guest Tenille Dashwood with Kaleb as we go to commercial.
- Backstage X-Division champion Josh Alexander is interviewed before he's interrupted by Jake Something before Scott makes a No Disqualification match between Jake and Kaleb.
- Newly crowned IMPACT World champion Christian Cage comes out to the ring and hands the ring announcer the TNA title and tells him to take it to the back to once again retire the belt before he's interrupted by the challenger for his title tomorrow night, Brian Myers accompanied by Sam Beale. Brian then shoves Sam into Christian before Christian drops him and Brian escapes to the back and leaves Sam laid out in the ring.
- We get a recap of Deonna Purrazzo retaining her Knockouts title and defeating Faby Apache to become the new Reina de Reinas champion at Triplemania.
Melina vs Brandi Lauren
Brandi is in control early before Melina comes back with a back elbow and a diving cross body before hitting a running knee in the ropes and a One Percenter into a Muta Lock for the tap and the win.
Winner: Melina defeats Brandi Lauren via pinfall.
- After the match Deonna Purrazzo and Drama King Matt come out and attack Melina before she's saved by Trey Miguel.
- Backstage we see someone being interviewed briefly before the camera immediately cuts off to David Finlay as we see that Juice Robinson has been attacked as we go to commercial.
- We get a video package for Rachel Ellering and Jordynne Grace where we see Jordynne winning a weight lifting competition.
No Disqualification Match
Jake Something vs Kaleb (w/ Tenille Dashwood)
Jake goes right after Kaleb who turns it around before Jake accidentally runs head first into the middle turnbuckle and counters a suplex that sends Kaleb across the ring before clotheslining him and bringing a table into the ring and spearing Kaleb through the table for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jake Something defeats Kaleb via pinfall.
Doc Gallows (w/ Karl Anderson) vs Joe Doering (w/ Violent By Design)
Joe and Doc exchange strikes before running into each other and Joe clotheslines Doc over the top rope and down onto the floor before Doc sends him into the steps as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Doc in control back in the ring before Joe hits a German and they clothesline each other before Joe hits a delayed suplex and they end up at ringside where Doc sends Joe into the railing before throwing a chair at him and they knock each other back out of the ring when they run the ropes and collide. Doc and Joe brawl up the ramp and to the stage before Doc hits a sit-out powerbomb through the stage before officials, medical personnel and Scott come out and check on the two before Doc is helped out of the hole and crawls back down to the ring as Joe climbs out on his own and back down to ringside. The match then continues as they slowly get back into the ring and Doc comes off of the top before Joe catches and plants him for the pin and the win.
Winnere: Joe Doering defeats Doc Gallows via pinfall.
