Lucha Underground Results (10/17): The Return Of Gift Of The Gods Championship

Welcome to Fightful's coverage of Lucha Underground. This week, Antonio Cueto makes a big announcement regarding a certain championship.

We start in Cueto’s office and Jake Strong comes in. Strong asks why he got called in and Cueto tells him that he has been more dominant than he could have ever expected and appeared as if he was going to offer Strong a spot in the Ultima Lucha Cuatro main event. Strong rejects the offer, not wanting the opportunity handed to him. Cueto then gives Strong one of the Ancient Aztec medallions to potentially challenge for the Gift of the Gods Championship, but Strong tosses it back to Cueto and leaves his office, saying that the Temple is no longer Cueto’s, but his now.
