AEW Announces Field For 2024 AEW Continental Classic

They run the ropes and try to knock each other over before Brian drops Lio with a shoulder block and Lio dropkicks him before Brian rolls out of the ring and Lio kicks him from the apron before hitting an asai moonsault and tossing Brian back inside for one before beating on Brian on the mat. Lio hits Brian with forearms to the back of the neck before Brian comes back with a powerslam and chops into an uppercut and several clotheslines for two before Lio counters a suplex and Lio knocks Brian off of the apron before he gets back inside and Lio drops Brian with a kick. Brian then meets Lio up top when he goes for the Final Hour and hits a superplex before Lio gets a near fall off of an inside cradle and hits a rebound cutter into The Final Hour for the pin and the win.

Winner: Lio Rush retains his MLW World Middleweight Championship by defeating Brian Pillman Jr. via pinfall

- We are told that Los Parks will now defend their tag titles against both Injustice and Contra Unit in a No Disqualification Match.

- Backstage Alex Hammerstone cuts a promo about Mil Muertes attacking him at the end of last week's title before he and Salina de la Renta stole his National Openweight Championship.

- We get a taped promo by the Von Erichs in Hawaii who challenge Team Filthy to a fight anytime and anywhere.

- We get a taped promo by Salina where she talks about how pleased El Jefe who runs Azteca Underground was when she took the National Openweight title for the promotion.

- We get this week's PWI Top Ten with at Low Ki at number three,Tom Lawlor at two, and Alex Hammerstone at number one, respectively.

Parrow vs Mil Muertes (w/ Salina de la Renta)

They go toe to toe and exchange strikes until Mil dropkicks the knee of Parrow and hits a DDT before smashing his face into the top turnbuckle and chopping him in the corner before hitting him with clubbing blows in the corner and clotheslining Parrow before they end up outside as we see that Bu Ku Dao has been attacked backstage. Mil then sends Parrow into the apron repeatedly and into the sound equipment before Parrow hits a full nelson slam into a senton and Mil hits a powerslam for two before finishing Parrow with Straight to Hell for the pin and the win.

Winner: Mil Muertes defeats Parrow via pinfall.

- We get a video package promo by Calvin Tankman before we go to the control center for Never Say Never and get a highly distorted promo by Mads Krugger as we go to commercial.

- We get a taped promo by Tom Lawlor backstage who says that Team Filthy will see the Von Erichs and ACH in a Chain Ropes match next week.

MLW World Tag Team Championship No Disqualification Triple Threat Match
Los Parks (c) vs Injustice vs Contra Unit (Daivari & Simon Gotch)

Contra and Injustice go right at it without waiting for Los Parks before LA comes out and takes everyone out with a chair before they pair off and Simon and Myron duel with kendo sticks while Hijo and Daivari brawl before LA Park Jr. comes out from underneath the ring and Myron drops Daivari with an enzuigiri for two before Hijo hits Myron with a chair and Los Parks double team Jordan with a chair. Daivari beats on Hijo at ringside before Simon drags LA out from underneath the ring and Hijo hits Simon with a kendo stick before Los Parks take control of Contra before Simon and LA exchange strikes that we're told that TJP has been indefinitely suspended as the number one suspect for the attack on Bu Ku Dao. Injustice then come into the ring and clear it before Myron and Jordan hit a pair of diving cross bodies onto everyone at ringside before Simon pulls Myron out of the ring and Contra double team Jordan with an assisted Gotch-Style piledriver for a near fall that Hijo breaks up before Hijo takes out Simon with a suicide dive and LA pins Jordan with a spear for the win.

Winner: Los Parks retain their MLW World Tag Team titles by defeating Injustice and Contra Unit via pinfall.
