New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented its NJPW Capital Collision event on August 30, 2024, from the Entertainment＆Sports Arena in Washington, DC. The event was broadcast on NJPW World.

* Kickoff: STRONG Survivor - Matt Vandagriff def. Allan Breeze

* Kickoff: E Nexus V (HANAKO & Mina Shirakawa) def. Viva Van & Trish Adora

* NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Number One Contenders Match: Tomohiro Ishii & Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) and TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Robbie Eagles)

* Kevin Knight, Rocky Romero & YOSHI-HASHI def. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & David Finlay) when Knight pinned Maloney.

- After the match, the BULLET CLUB War Dogs attacked Knight. Finlay hit him with the shillelagh, and the other two members hit Knight with the Full Clip.

* No DQ Grudge Match: Dirty Work (Fred Rosser & Tom Lawlor) def. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson)

* Zack Sabre Jr. def. Titan

* Tetsuya Naito def. TJP

* NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships: TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (c) def. Virus & Hechicero

- After the match, Tomohiro Ishii & Hiroshi Tanahashi confronted the champions. A championship match was made official for NJPW Royal Quest IV.

* Hiromu Takahashi def. Mustafa Ali

- After the bout, Ali yelled at the broadcasters that he wanted another match with Hiromu at Best of Super Juniors 2025. A third match would be the rubber match as both men now hold a respective victory over one another

* NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Gabe Kidd (c) def. Lio Rush

* NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship: Mercedes Mone (c) def. Momo Watanabe

- Mercedes cuts the go-home promo of the night. She says the last time she was in a NJPW ring, she thought her career would end. She tells the fans to drive home safely, and that's the end of the show.
