- House of Torture tried to attack Tanahashi after the match, but they ran away after a hooded figure appeared. The figure was revealed to be Katsuyori Shibata, who amicably challenged Tanahashi to a match at NJPW Wrestle Dynasty. Tanahashi shook Shibata's hand and accepted the challenge.
