Ring of Honor TV (8/3/2023) Results: Shibata vs Woods, Athena vs Diamante, Two TV Title Eliminators

Ring of Honor presented the twenty-third episode of their new era on Thursday, August 3, 2023, and it aired on ROH Honor Club. The show was headlined by Katsuyori Shibata defending his ROH Pure Championship against Josh Woods and Athena defending her ROH Women's Championship against Diamante.

Elsewhere on the card, Two ROH Television Championship Eliminators took place as Shane Taylor faced Christopher Daniels while Gravity went one-on-one against Tony Nese. Full results & highlights are listed below & will be updated as the show happens.

  • The Iron Savages (Boulder, Bronson & Jacked Jameson) called out Aussie Open backstage to a match for the ROH Tag Titles later in the night.
  • ROH Television Championship Eliminator - Semi-Finals: Shane Taylor def. Christopher Daniels.
  • Aussie Open accepted the challenge from the Iron Savages backstage but stated that they were so confident they would win that they gave their ROH Tag Titles to Tony Khan & Stokely Hathaway at the Guerrilla Position so that they could keep them warm.
  • ROH Tag Team Championship Match: Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) (c) def. Iron Savages (Bronson & Boulder) (w/ Jacked Jameson).
    • Aussie Open retrieved their tag titles backstage while Kyle Fletcher kissed Tony Khan on the forehead after retaining the titles two nights in a row.
  • Stokely Hathaway was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair talking about the ROH Television Championship Eliminator Tournament, but Dalton Castle confronted Hathaway and blamed him for losing the title match at Death Before Dishonor. Samoa Joe interrupted proceedings before he challenged The Boys to a tag match alongside Stokely Hathaway next week.
  • ROH Pure Championship Match: Katsuyori Shibata (c) def. Josh Woods (w/ Mark Sterling) (11:13).
  • Dalton Castle (w/ Brent Tate & Brandon Tate) def. Zack Clayton.
  • Josh Woods was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair. Woods noted his losses for ROH titles before stating that something had to change.
  • The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) (w/ Trish Adora) def. Jora Johl & Nick Commorotto.
  • Leyla Hirsch def. Miranda Vionette.
    • Marian Kanellis-Bennett watched the match from the ramp.
  • ROH Television Championship Eliminator - Semi-Finals: Gravity def. Tony Nese (w/ Mark Sterling & Ari Daivari).
  • ROH Women's World Championship Match: Athena (c) def. Diamante.
  • Gates of Agony (Kaun & Toa Linoa) (w/ Prince Nana) def. The Boys (Brendan Tate & Brandon Tate).
  • Diamante was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair, but they were interrupted by Athena. Athena stated that she did not attack Diamante after the match because she saw a younger version of herself in Athena. Athena warned Diamante to back off.
  • "Two Dimes" Cole Karter vs. LSG.
    • ​​​​​​​Marian Kanellis-Bennett watched the match from the ramp.
  • In a vignette from Death Before Dishonor, Stu Grayson & The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) cut a promo before they were interrupted by Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver). Rather than an attack, Evil Uno & Grayson before Uno said the following: "Thank you"
  • Robyn Renegade (w/ Charlette Renegade) def. Christina Marie.
  • Hijo del Vikingo & Komander (w/ Alex Abrahantes)​​​​​​​ def. The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake).
