TNA iMPACT! (7/4/2024) Results: Road To Slammiversary Qualifiers, House Hardy vs The System, More

On July 4, 2024, TNA hosted a new episode of TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV, TNA Plus, and YouTube.

The show featured Joe Hendry facing Jake Something and Mike Santana facing Frankie Kazarian in Road to Slammiversary Qualifiers. Also on the show, Matt Hardy & Rebecca Hardy faced The System (Alisha Edwards & Eddie Edwards) in a Mixed Tag Match. The full results are listed below.

NXT Level up Results (7/5): Josh Briggs, Wren Sinclair, Uriah Connors, Tyra Mae Steele In Action

TNA iMPACT! (7/4/2024).

  • Trey Miguel vs. Leon Slater ended in a No Contest.
    • NXT’s Charlie Dempsey attacked The Rascalz & Leon Slater, leading the match to be called off.
  • The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) cut a promo backstage calling out Charlie Dempsey for next week.
  • Campaign Singh & TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali met with Santino Marella to retract his challenge from last week because he believed Mike Bailey had not earned a title shot. Marella agreed and said that Bailey will compete next week, saying that if Bailey wins the title match is still on.
  • Jody Threat vs. Dani Luna ended in a No Contest.
    • Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards attacked Luna & Threat from out of nowhere, leading the referee to call this a No Contest.
    • During the match, Nic Nemeth was seen laid out on the stairs backstage. Ryan Nemeth noticed this and screamed for medical assistance.
  • TNA World Heavyweight Championship - Road to Slammiversary Qualifier: Frankie Kazarian def. Mike Santana via Count-Out.
    • JDC attacked Mike Santana during the match, allowing Kazarian to pick up the count-out win.
  • ABC (Chris Bey & Ac Austin) had a vignette where they declared they were ready for a title shot a the TNA Tag Titles.
  • There was a vignette of PCO bringing Steph DeLander back to life after she was attacked by First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) to weeks ago.
  • First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) bragged about laying out PCO & Steph DeLander before Santino Marella confronted them and announced that Francis would defend the TNA Digital Media Title against PCO at TNA Slammiversary.
  • House Hardy (Matt Hardy & Rebecca Hardy) def. The System (Alisha Edwards & Eddie Edwards) (w/ Brian Myers) via Pinfall (Twist of Fate from Matt Hardy on Eddie Edwards).
    • Brian Myers confronted Santino Marella, but BC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) made fun of Myers before JDC confronted Bey. Marella booked JDC to face Chris Bey next week.
  • TNA Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace issued an Open Challenge for her title next week.
  • TNA World Heavyweight Championship - Road to Slammiversary Qualifier: Joe Hendry def. Jake Something via Pinfall (Standing Ovation).
  • JDC & The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose & Alisha Edwards) were spotted leaving the arena in the parking lot. Moose congratulated JDC on attacking Mike Santana & Nic Nemeth, but JDC said he did not attack Nemeth. As The System left the arena in the car, the camera cut to Frankie Kazarian smoking a cigar, asking who production was filing and stating the following to end the broadcast: "*lightly chuckles* marks".
