Joaquin Wilde vs Danny Burch
Danny takes the high flyer Wilde down to the mat and controls him on the mat by switching between holds until Wilde gets to his feet and backs into the ropes for a clean break before Wilde hits a deep arm drag into a straight armbar. Danny picks the leg of Wilde when he's in the air before they end up at ringside and Danny hits Wilde with uppercuts before sending him into the barricade before Wilde hits a diving forearm off of the barricade before tossing Danny back into the ring and getting back in himself at the count of nine. Wilde starts focusing on the left arm of Danny before playing to the non-existent crowd and covering Danny for two before going back to his arm. Danny gets a near fall off of a roll up before Wilde comes back with a running uppercut in the corner into a rolling code breaker before he lands on his feet when Danny rolls out of the way of a diving stomp. Burch then headbutts Wilde before locking in a cross face for the tap and the win.
Winner: Danny Burch defeats Joaquin Wilde via submission.
- We come back to a recap of last week's elimination tag match in which team NXT defeated team 205 Live before we go to John Cena watching in the crowd where he says that the cruiserweights are awesome and he's taking notes.
Isaiah Scott vs Oney Lorcan
Scott gets a quick two count as they roll around on the mat before backing off and they lock up before Oney hits a snap mare into a stretch with his head buried into the back of the neck of Scott before Scott gets to his feet and reverses it momentarily before Oney takes him back down and digs his knee into his spine. Scott gets to his feet and sends Oney out onto the apron before Oney hits an uppercut in the corner before getting two off of a roll up and Scott gets two off of a small package. Scott hits a tilt-a-whirl slam for two and Oney hits a dragon screw in the ropes as Scott falls off of the apron and down onto the floor before Oney goes out and grabs him and tosses him back into the ring. Oney focuses on the now injured leg of Scott for two before Scott comes back with an armbar while hitting Oney in the face with his leg before Oney takes him down with a single leg and Scott kicks him away. Scott chops Oney and turns him inside out with a discus clothesline before hitting a jumping uppercut in the corner into a diving back elbow to the back of the neck of Oney before sending Oney out onto the apron and sweeping him before superkicking him.
Scott drops Oney with a boot from the apron before tossing him back into the ring and hitting a rolling flatliner for a near fall, Oney immediately coming back with chops before Scott counters an avalanche half and half and hits the Swerve Stomp for the pin and the win.
Winner: Isaiah Scott defeats Oney Lorcan via pinfall.
