On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of NXT on the USA Network.
The show was headlined by Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin facing Axiom & Nathan Frazer in the Semi-Finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

- After a video recap of the 1/16 episode of NXT, Vic Joseph & Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament - Semi-Final: Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin def. Axiom & Nathan Frazer.
- NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov spoke with a producer before being interrupted by Josh Briggs, who said he was trying to find out if he could hang with the top guy. Trick Williams interrupted and said that he wanted to make sure Dragunov was fine for NXT Vengeance Day. Still, Briggs said that Williams would be going into Carmelo Hayes's back pocket.
- Wren Sinclair (Madi Wrencowski) was talking herself ahead of her match against Lash Legend before Fallon Henley met her. Henley gave her some motivation and told her she would do great tonight.
- Former NXT General Manager William Regal met with Ava backstage. After a chat with Regal & Shawn Michaels, Regal told Ava to take care of NXT. Ava has officially been appointed as the new NXT General Manager.
- Lash Legend (w/ Noam Dar, Oro Mensah & Jakara Jackson of the MetaFour) def. Wren Sinclair.
- Meta Four surrounded Sinclair after the match, but Fallon Henley made the save.
- There was a vignette of OTM (SCRYPTS, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima & Jaida Parker) trashing The Family's restaurant, including laying out Adrianna Rizzo. They told one of the custodians to send a message to Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo.
- Elektra Lopez trashed backstage, where she said that she was looking for Lola Vice.
- DIJAK & Joe Gacy brawled at ringside. DIJAK tossed Gacy through one of the podiums at ringside, but Gacy crawled back. DIJAK proceeded to put Gacy through the broadcast table before referees & security guards separated them.
- Elektra Lopez asked Arianna Grace where "was she?', to which Grace responded by saying that she was there. Lopez was referencing Lola Vice before leaving.
- Von Wagner was training on a Football Field at his former University to become a better technical wrestler for the NXT Heritage Cup.
- Lexis King def. Trey Bearhill.
- Trick Williams met with Carmelo Hayes backstage. Hayes told Williams to not allow Dragunov to play him, but Williams said that he was just looking over Dragunov's title. Hayes told Williams to identify that Dragunov was trying to cost him his chances at gold.
- Noam Dar & Oro Mensah hosted a new edition of Supernova 11 Sessions. Dar called out Von Wagner before bringing in the guest of the episode Lola Vice. Vice said that she attacked Elektra Lopez last week. After all, she wanted to remove her from her life because she was a leach, saying that she did not regret anything. Lopez interrupted and said that she was real while Vice got her for her Instagram fame before she promised to burn Vice City down. They brawled after that.
- The Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Adrianna Rizzo) called out OTM in their car, saying that things would get interesting for them now.
- Chase University was being dismantled in front of Andre Chase & Duke Hudson. Chase said that they will say goodbye to Chase U next week.
- Dragon Lee def. SCRYPTS (w/ Bronco Nima, Jaida Parker & Lucien Price of OTM).
- The Family attacked Nima, Price & Parker during the match. The brawl distracted SCRYPTS, which allowed Lee to catch him with the Destino for the win.
- NXT North American Champion Oba Femi watched the match from the Raven's Nest. After the match, Femi told Lee he would see him at NXT Vengeance Day.
- Edris Enofe & Malik Blade were backstage reflecting on their loss against Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes, but Brinley Reece appeared to give them a pep-talk. Reece then randomly chopped Enofe in the chest.
- Tatum Paxley spoke with Lyra Valkyria, but Valkyria told her that this was not going to work because she needed to focus on Roxanne Perez.
- Blair Davenport def. Karmen Petrovic.
- Kelly Kincaid interviewed Ridge Holland backstage, where Holland called out all of Gallus to a match.
- Trick Williams def. Josh Briggs.
- NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov was on the broadcast team for the match. Dragunov tried to attack Briggs, but Hayes pulled Dragunov off the apron.
- Josh Briggs hit a Discus Lariat on Williams after the match. Hayes & Williams argued due to Hayes getting involved after the match.
- Jacy Jayne & Thea Hail were speaking backstage before Lexis King tried to "offer" a shoulder to cry on. Riley Osborne joined in and told King to leave.
- There was a video package highlighting No Quarter Catch Crew.
- Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams argued in the Guerilla Position backstage, where Hayes told Williams to wake up because Dragunov was trying to manipulate him.
- Roxanne Perez & NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria came to the ring for their contract signing, moderated by the new NXT General Manager Ava. Perez & Valkyria put over their success before Perez said that she was going for the title she never lost in April. Valkyria said that she replaced Perez at the top of the card and wanted to see the edgy version of Perez at Vengeance Day. After a heated argument, the two signed their contracts for their match at NXT Vengeance Day. Tatum Paxley appeared from under the table and hit a spinebuster on Perez through the table. Valkyria argued with Paxley to end the broadcast.
