Nikki Cross vs Amber Nova
They lock up for a clean break in the corner before Nikki hits an arm drag into a shoulder lock. Nova hits Nikki with a forearm before Nikki hits a side slam for a quick two count, then Amber sends her into the top turnbuckle and hits her with right hands in mount for a quick two count. Nova puts Nikki in a straight jacket hold until Nikki gets out and drops Nova repeatedly. Nikki then hits a diving cross body off of the top before hitting a spinning neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Nikki Cross defeats Amber Nova via pinfall with a spinning neckbreaker.
-Ricochet comes out for a match, but is attacked from behind by Undisputed Era on the stage before Adam says that he'll still be champion after NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II.
Adrian Jaoode vs Kassius Ohno
Adrian takes Ohno down before Ohno drops him with a boot and hits a running senton and another running boot in the corner. Adrian hits a suplex before Ohno nearly knocks him out with a running forearm. Ohno then hits Adrian with a rolling elbow for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kassius Ohno defeats Adrian Jaoode via pinfall with a rolling elbow.
-EC3 and Velveteen Dream meet at Dream's house where they talk about how their match is worth waiting for and agree to wait for their match at Takeover: Brooklyn II. EC3 then knocks off Dream's sunglasses before hitting a One Percent into the pool and leaving.
Marcel Barthel vs Keith Lee
Keith nearly knocks Marcel out with a forearm before Marcel chops the throat of Lee before Keith dropkicks him. Marcel rocks Keith with an enzuigiri before Lee headbutts him, but misses a splash in the corner. Keith then hits Marcel with a jackhammer for the pin and the win.
Winner: Keith Lee defeats Marcel Barthel via pinfall with a jackhammer.
Mae Young Classic Qualifying Match
Vanessa Borne vs Taynara Conti
They meet in the center and lock up before rolling around and trying to pin each other down until they get back to their feet and Conti hits a hip toss for a quick two count. Borne drops Conti with a shoulder block before smashing her face into the middle turnbuckle repeatedly. Borne applies a front choke before turning it into a body scissor, then Conti comes back with a series of suplexes. Borne then slaps Conti before Conti counters a crucifix into a spinning side slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Taynara Conti defeats Vanessa Borne via pinfall with a spinning side slam to gain entry to the Mae Young Classic.
Johnny Gargano vs Aleister Black
They exchange strikes as soon as the match starts before Aleister rolls out of the ring and Johnny follows him with a dive through the ropes. Johnny rolls Black back into the ring before Black catches him in midair with a knee when he goes for a spear through the ropes. Black ducks a rolling enzuigiri before dropping Johnny with a knee and they clothesline each other. Ciampa then comes out and tosses Johnny out of the ring for the disqualification.
Winner: Johnny Gargano defeats Aleister Black via disqualification.
-After the match Ciampa attacks Black before Black lays both Ciampa and Johnny out. Everyone then ends up brawling at ringside before the officials come out and hold Black and Gargano back before William Regal comes out and announces that the NXT Championship match will be a triple threat match as we go off the air.
