  • After a video recap of WWE SummerSlam, Corey Graves & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes kicked off the show for a promo. Rhodes wanted to talk about who he wanted to defend the title against at the WWE event, Bash In Berlin, but he was immediately interrupted by The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa). Sikoa demanded a rematch for the title, but Rhodes scolded because he had already lost, meaning he was at the back of the line. The Bloodline was about to enter the ring, but Kevin Owens even the odds by bringing a chair to the ring before causing The Bloodline to retreat. Sikoa said he would deal with Rhodes later after he was done with Roman Reigns, to which Rhodes responded by saying he would be waiting for him.
After The Bloodline retreated, Rhodes called Owens to get back in the ring and told him he wanted to face him at Bash In Berlin for the title. Owens appreciated the offer, but he did not deserve it yet; however, Rhodes said he & fans did not forget before stating he would speak with Nick Aldis to make the match official.
  • Byron Saxton interviewed The Pride (B-Fab, Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford), where they declared that The Bloodline did not have any focus since Roman Reigns returned and had a focus on regaining Tag Title Gold to end their 3-year title draught.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship - #1 Contenders Qualifier: Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) def. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) via Pinfall (Doomsday Blockbuster).
  • Nick Aldis met with Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes regarding a title match, with Aldis saying he was going to discuss a title match with Roman Reigns before making a decision. Owens took offense to that, saying it was blasphemous he was getting a title match because he had not done anything to earn a title match. That speech convinced Aldis, who booked Owens vs. Rhodes for WWE Bash In Berlin.
  • Tiffany Stratton was trying to prepare Nia Jax's title celebration before Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) interrupted. They were pitching Stratto a role in their musical, but Stratton had to go. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven interrupted Stratton, saying they see through Stratton's bluff and she was waiting on the time to turn against Jax. Stratton responded by saying she was insufferable.
  • Jade Cargill (w/ Bianca Belair) def. Alba Fyre (w/ Isla Dawn) via Pinfall (Jaded).
    • Fyre, Dawn & Blair Davenport attacked Cargill & Belair after the match, but Naomi came to the ring and made the save.
  • The newly crowned WWE United States Champion LA Knight came to the ring for his title celebration. He understood he was a marked man, but that had been the case since he joined the title and promised to hit it & quit against anyone who gets in his way for the title. Santos Escobar (w/ Angel Garza, Berto Carrillo & Elektra Lopez) interrupted, with Escobar congratulating Knight on his title win, but said he did not buy Knight as a champion before declaring he was just the opening act to losing the title to Escobar. Knight responded by saying Escobar deserved to get the brakes beaten out of him again before saying he would not let Escobar take the title off him. This led to Escobar's match against Andrade El Idolo.
  • There was a vignette for Giovanni Vinci ahead of his WWE return.
  • WWE United States Championship - #1 Contenders Match: Santos Escobar (w/ Angel Garza, Berto Carrillo & Elektra Lopez) def. Andrade El Idolo via Pinfall (Schoolboy Roll-Up).
    • Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews brawled with Garza & Carrillo, causing them to leave the arena.
    • Carmelo Hayes distracted Andrade, allowing Escobar to get a Schoolboy Roll-Up for the win.
  • #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) cut a promo backstage, where they promised to regain their tag titles by any means necessary, starting with beating Pretty Deadly tonight.
  • WWE aired a video package paying tribute to Kevin Sullivan. Fightful sends condolences to his fans, family & friends.
  • A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) confronted Nick Aldis backstage, with Theory accidentally blurting out the idea of Grayson Waller facing Kevin Owens. Aldis liked the idea, causing them to book the match for next week.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship - #1 Contenders Qualifier: #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) def. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) via Pinfall (Meet In The Middle on Prince).
  • Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa met with Solo Sikoa, telling him that Roman Reigns was not here yet. Sikoa told them to not worry because he would be there.
  • The Bloodline (Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Solo Sikoa) appeared in the ring, with Sikoa calling out Reigns to take the Ula Fala from him. Welp, say his name & promise you will see Candyman. Roman Reigns appeared on the ramp. Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa went to attack Reigns, but Reigns took them down with two lariats before neutralizing them by hitting them with the stairs. Reigns then had a staredown with Sikoa before they went face-to-face. Reigns & Sikoa brawled in the ring, with Reigns hitting a Superman Punch. Reigns went for the Spear, but Tonga Loa pulled Sikoa out of the ring. Reigns then tried to get the Ula Fala, but this allowed Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa to attack Reigns from behind. Reigns caught both members of the Guerrillas of Destiny consecutive Superman Punches before catching Tonga Loa with a spear. Reigns then rolled out of the ring and hit Tama Tonga with a spear through the barricade. Reigns viciously attacked Tonga Loa in the ring with a Steel Chair. Reigns stood tall to end the broadcast.
