WWE Smackdown on FOX Results for 4/3/20 The Last Stop on the Road to Wrestlemania

Good evening Fight Fans and welcome to our coverage of tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown on FOX!

- We open the show with Miz TV hosted by The Usos rather than The Miz before they're interrupted by New Day as they enter the ring before they argue and The Miz and John Morrison finally come out. Miz reprimands the two teams about disrespecting him and trying to steal his own show from him before all six men brawl on the ramp and the stage until Miz and Morrison are the last ones standing. The Miz and Morrison then climb ladders on the stage and hold their titles up high before we get a graphic for John Cena addressing Bray's challenge for a Firefly Fun House match at Wrestlemania as well as a look back at Wrestlemania XXIV.

Naomi vs Lacey Evans vs Tamina

Bayley and Sasha Banks join Michael Cole on commentary before the match starts before Tamina takes control early before Lacey hits a basement dropkick and Tamina shows off her power by quashing a roll up attempt by Naomi. Tamina then throws Lacey down onto the mat before clearing the ring as we go to commercial.

We come back to Tamina in control before Naomi catches her coming in with a boot and tries to come back with forearms before hitting a springboard roundhouse kick. Lacey comes in and rocks Tamina with an elbow before clotheslining her and hitting a slingshot elbow drop. Naomi takes out Lacey before Sasha gets up and sends Lacey into the steps before Naomi takes out Sasha. Tamina then hits a Samoan drop once Naomi is back in the ring for a near fall missing a splash in the corner before Tamina pins Naomi with a superkick for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tamina defeats Naomi and Lacey Evans via pinfall.

- After the match Bayley tries to shake hands with Tamina and gets dropped before Sasha gets into the ring and gets hit with a Samoan drop. We then get a graphic for Ric Flair's retirement match up next as we go to commercial.

- We come back to Tucker backstage before he's joined by Mandy and they discuss what to do about Otis and Dolph before we go to Ric Flair's retirement match from Wrestlemania XXIV in which he lost to Shawn Michaels.

- We come back to an update on Elias after Baron Corbin knocked him off of the perch as well as the announcement of Goldberg now facing Braun Strowman. We then go to Heavy Machinery talking about Tucker taking to Mandy before Otis gets a text and runs off as we get a graphic for Tucker versus Dolph Ziggler up next as we go to commercial.

Tucker vs Dolph Ziggler

Tucker drops Dolph and shows off his strength before Dolph kicks his knee and hits a neckbreaker into a jumping leg drop. Dolph applies headlock before Tucker gets to his feet and Dolph dropkicks him for two before quickly reapplying the hold. Tucker then gets to his feet and slingshots Dolph into the corner before Dolph sends him into the post and hits a DDT as we go to commercial.

We go back to the action in the ring to Tucker fighting his way to his feet and coming back with clubbing right hands and an overhead suplex before Dolph rolls out of the ring. Tucker smashes Dolph's face into the announce table and sends him into the barricade before stalking Dolph who tries to crawl up the ramp. Tucker sends Dolph into the steps and tosses him back into the ring before hitting a side slam for two. Back outside Dolph stops Tucker from slamming him onto the steps and rakes his eyes before hitting the Zigzag onto the steps. Dolph then picks up a part of the steps and goes to hit Tucker before Mandy and Sonya come out and stop him before Otis comes out and runs Dolph off.

Winner: Tucker defeats Dolph Ziggler via disqualification.

- After the match the mysterious symbol that have been cutting into the show for weeks appears and words appear with it before we go to someone in a hooded sweatshirt and a mask before asking if everyone is paying attention and says that the truth will be heard shows us various camera footage revealing that Sonya teamed up with Dolph to make sure that Otis and Mandy would never hey together before Mandy leaves in anger at Sonya and Dolph escapes from Otis. Otis then goes back and checks on Tucker before we get a graphic for John Cena and Bray Wyatt before finishing with a graphic for Daniel Bryan versus Shinsuke Nakamura up next as we go to commercial.

- We come back to Sonya trying to talk to Mandy, but she won't speak to her before walking off camera and Sonya stands there dejected.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel takes Shin down several times before Shinsuke locks in a straight armbar and Daniel reverses into a double wrist lock. Daniel takes Shin down before he gets to his feet and elbows his way out of a hammer lock before Daniel dropkicks him. Shin rolls out of the ring and Daniel hits a wrecking ball dropkick into a diving knee off of the apron and a missile dropkick once they're back in the ring. Daniel points to Sami at the announce table and hits a running dropkick in the corner before Shin knocks Daniel off off the top when he goes for a superplex and hits a diving knee for two. Shin then chokes Daniel in the corner before hitting a sliding German suplex as we go to commercial.

We come back to Daniel hitting a flying knee before following up with Yes Kicks and Shin goes for a choke before driving his knees into the ribs of Daniel and hitting his own kicks to the chest. Daniel grabs Shin's leg and goes for a heel hook before dropping him with a roundhouse kick for two. Daniel snaps the arm of Shin before going for a cross face that Shin counters before Shin hits a single leg dropkick. Shin hits an exploder suplex before Daniel catches him coming in and locks in a single leg Boston crab. Shin gets to the ropes for the break before they exchange strikes and counters until Daniel gets a one count off of a roll up.

Shin hits a flying armbar before Daniel reverses into one of his own and transitions into a triangle before finishing with a cross face. Cesaro then rushes the ring and attacks Daniel before Drew Gulak attacks Cesaro when he tries to interfere and Cesaro dumps him over the apron when he tries to lock on a guillotine at ringside.

Winner: Daniel Bryan defeats Shinsuke Nakamura via disqualification.

- After the match Cesaro hits Drew with a Neutralizer before Shinsuke hits Daniel with a Kinshasa and Sami finishes it by hitting Daniel with a Helluva Kick before celebrating as we go to commercial.

- John Cena comes out to the ring and talks about Wrestlemania and how he things it will have a lot of viewers due to its mysterious nature before saying that he has no idea what a Firefly Fun House match is and suspects that Bray Wyatt doesn't either. John says that we're all staring into uncertainty and that he won't panic, he isn't afraid and will squash The Fiend and put an end to what he started six years ago. John says that Goldberg exposed The Fiend's weakness and that he's going to put an end to him and that regardless of everything being in The Fiend's favor, he's going to lose. John says that he accepts before all of the puppets in the Firefly Fun House show up at ringside and tell John that when he loses they'll play together forever. The Fiend then appears on the perch at the back of the arena before Bray appears behind John and tells him to let him in before they both disappear and John is all alone as we go off the air.
