It's been a tough couple of weeks for Steve Maclin.
On June 17, Steve Maclin put his REVOLVER World Championship on the line against Jake Crist at Wrestling REVOLVER and the Ring of Destiny. Unfortunately for Maclin, he was defeated by Crist, ending his title reign after 196 days.
For Crist, this is the first time he has held the REVOLVER Championship. He previously challenged for the title in June 2022, but was unable to topple JT Dunn.

This marks the second title Maclin has lost in the past 8 days. On June 9 at IMPACT Against All Odds, Maclin dropped the IMPACT World Title to Alex Shelley. He is scheduled to get his rematch on June 30 at the IMPACT Down Under Tour.
Crist recently made his return to IMPACT after nearly two years away from the promotion. Shorlty after his re-debut, he spoke with Sami Callihan about his road back to IMPACT and being sober for almost three years. Click here to read more.
