It was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Fenix suffered a neck injury during his bout against Penta. The report noted Fenix told friends he "was okay" but AEW management decided to pull him out of the match as a precautionary measure.
The bout between Penta and Omega was taped on Thursday.
