Rey Mysterio wants to see WWE hold a premium live event in Mexico in the near future.
In recent months, WWE has held premium live events in Australia, France, and Saudi Arabia, and Bash in Berlin is on the horizon as well. As the company has increasingly held international premium live events, superstars have expressed their interest in seeing the pattern continue.
Speaking with Graham "GSM" Matthews for Bleacher Report, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio commented on his hope that WWE will hold a premium live event in Mexico.
"I'm hoping that it happens in the next three years. I think my people deserve something as good as a PLE. I'm truly hoping. We have a huge stadium over there, Estadio Azteca, which I believe is being remodeled this year. I think the fans would go crazy. Mexico has always been an incredible crowd for wrestling and what better than to pay it off with WWE coming over there and giving them something as special as a PLE?" Mysterio said.
