It's no secret that Rey Mysterio's son Dominick, who had been present on WWE television on a fairly regular basis in recent weeks, wants to step into the ring with his father.
After already undergoing training for a couple of years, Dominick is set to finally report to WWE's Performance Center so he can properly learn the WWE style. In an interview with Marca (translated from Spanish), Mysterio said Dominick will be going to the Performance Center next year.
"He's coming along and learning as time passes. He'll start next year to train at the Performance Center in Orlando to learn the company's style and then we'll see [what happens]. He's had more than two years to prepare and the truth is, he's been learning pretty quickly. You can tell that it's in his blood. I am loving being able to share the ring with him before I retire. I think he will enjoy it. He's commented to me that he wants to continue the Mysterio dynasty," Mysterio said.
Dominick has been on WWE television for the past few weeks as part of a feud between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez and now Lesnar and Velasquez will do battle once more, this time in a wrestling ring for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel on October 31. Fightful will have live coverage of Crown Jewel.
