Rey Mysterio Set To Celebrate 20 Year WWE Anniversary On 7/25 Raw, Roman Reigns Also Advertised

The masked legend is celebrating twenty years with WWE.

After Damian Priest hinted at it last week, WWE has officially confirmed that next week's episode of Monday Night Raw, which will take place at Madison Square Garden, will feature Rey Mysterio's 20th Anniversary Celebration.

Eric Bischoff Adds MLW Tag Title Match To MLW One Shot

Mysterio made his WWE on-screen debut on the July 23, 2002 edition of SmackDown. Mysterio would defeat Chavo Gurrerro in the match, which would turn out to be a launching pad for the rest of his career within the promotion.

On tonight's episode of Raw, Rey Mysterio lost to Damian Priest in singles action. After the bout, Priest attempted to get Rey's son Dominik to join The Judgement Day by threatening to hit Rey with a con-chair-to. Dominik reluctantly accepted the invitation in order to save his father, but this wasn't good enough for The Judgment Day. Instead, Priest and Balor attacked him. They later stated that, next week, The Mysterios will fall.

Rey and Dominik responded in a promo later in the show. Dominik said that he might have failed the test, but he showed the world what being a Mysterio was all about. Rey vowed to show The Judgment Day duo exactly what that means next week. The two teams will face off in a tag team match on the show.

Plus, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear, just a few days before he defends the gold in a Last Man Standing Match against Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam.

Elsewhere on the show, Logan Paul will host ImPaulsive TV, his own edition of Miz TV, to prove that he can do it better than his SummerSlam opponent.

The updated card is as follows:

WWE Raw (7/25)

  • Rey Mysterio's 20th anniversary celebration
  • Rey and Dominik Mysterio vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest)
  • Roman Reigns Appears
  • ImPaulsive TV with Logan Paul
