Rey Mysterio: WrestleMania Entrance With Snoop Dogg Was Legendary

Rey Mysterio reflects on his special entrance with Snoop Dogg back at WrestleMania 39.

At WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio would have a special entrance to match his son and opponent's, Dominik Mysterio who had a prison escort to the ring. The elder Mysterio would have an escort to the ring also in the form of Snoop Dogg in a custom lowrider.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez in a recent interview, Mysterio reflected on his moment with Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 39.

"That was all magic for me. I had no idea what was going down until rehearsal time. When I saw the rehearsal and they told me, I was like, ‘Really, I’m part of this?’ It was crazy. I was already in another mindset, the fact that I was going to wrestle my son. My nerves were at 100%. I was nervous for myself. I was nervous for my son. I was because I had a lot of family there. Just hoped that everything turned out the way you envision. Snoop gave me that sense of calmness. Stepping into the whip with him and making that short entrance, those three songs mixed together is historical. It’s legendary for me."

Rey would go on to defeat Dominik at the event, with an assist from Bad Bunny.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Mysterio noted that Penta is World Title calibre. You can read more about that here.
