Ric Flair jokes about taking on 'The Boss' Sasha Banks.
Ever since his supposed retirement tag team bout against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal took place over SummerSlam weekend in Nashville, Ric Flair has yet to stop teasing yet another potential match. As recently as September 26, which was his 50 year anniversary in the business, Flair tweeted out that he would never retire.
In a quick interview with TMZ Sports earlier today, Flair yet again, seemingly jokingly, teased a potential emergence from the depths of retirement when asked if he would do a celebrity match or something along those lines.
"I might. I’m thinking about wrestling Sasha Banks. Maybe we’ll go up against WrestleMania [laughs]."
Flair went on to reveal that he isn't serious about a match with Banks, but that he'll never say never about a different bout.
"I don’t know. I don’t wanna say, I’ve already promised…. Right now I’m not doing anything. But never say never, right."
Meanwhile, Sasha Banks has been on the sideline for over five months now. Banks and her tag team partner Naomi walked out on an May episode of WWE Raw. At the time of the walkout, the duo were the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. To learn more about the incident, click here.
