Ric Flair Says He Could Do One More Match, In Better Shape Now Than Final WCW Match

Ric Flair comments on the possibility of one more match.

Flair hasn't wrestled since 2011 when he faced Sting in IMPACT Wrestling, but has hinted at getting back in the ring at some point. After being released by WWE in August, he appeared at AAA TripleMania and got physical with Kenny Omega and Konnan while cornering Andrade El Idolo.

On his podcast Wooo Nation Uncensored, Flair said he hopes to have one more match.

"Most assuredly, and a lot of conversation. That talk hasn't happened, but could I do it? Absolutely. I'm in better shape now than I was when Sting and I wrestled the last match on Nitro. WWE won't let me do anything, even though I'm released. I understand, they have so much liability and I told them I would sign anything, but nobody wants me to die on their watch. I'd rather die in the ring. If I have to go. I'd rather not jump off the 19th floor or spend another 31 days in the ICU," he said.

Flair appeared at NWA 73 following his WWE release and said he may have a drink with Tony Khan. New sexual assault allegations came out during Dark Side of the Ring's "Plane Ride From Hell" episode, which Flair denied.

Flair was removed from WWE marketing following the allegations. He did not address the allegation on the podcast.
