Ric Flair Wanted To Do A Dive To The Outside In Last Match, Charlotte Flair Nixed The Idea

Ric Flair has said that he won't just "wooo," chop, and strut in his final match, but one idea was a bit too far for his daughter to let slide.

Flair is set to wrestle in his last match on Sunday, July 31 when he teams with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett. Charlotte Flair will be ringside for the bout and she's already had a little creative input.

In an article by Marc Raimondi of ESPN, it's revealed that Ric wanted to do a dive from the top rope to the outside in the match, but Charlotte nixed the idea.

"A lot of our men and women in all companies miss those all the time," said Charlotte. "I was like, 'No, not needed, not necessary. Wasn't necessary in your prime, isn't necessary now. So, no.'"

Flair has guaranteed that he will come off the top rope in the match.

Flair has also been adamant that Sunday will be his last match despite offers from other promoters to wrestle again. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
