The Zero Fear event will have a match with two former WWE cruiserweights.
Rich Swann already appeared on the Impact Wrestling twitch channel in a nine person scramble match and on May 8th it was announced Swann would be at an event on June 3rd which will be filmed for the Impact Wrestling television broadcast. On Tuesday, Destiny Wrestling with whom Impact Wrestling is co-promoting the event, announced Swann will be wrestling Austin Aries at Zero Fear.
Both Swann and Aries left WWE in the last calender year. Aries left last July after reportedly asking for release which Aries later denied. Swann left in February after a night in jail and a domestic situation that resulted in no charges against Swann or his wife fellow Impact Wrestling roster member Su Yung.
