Rick Steiner Thought Bron Breakker 'Did Great' In Intercontinental Title Match At SummerSlam

Rick Steiner reacts to Bron Breakker's Intercontinental Championship victory.

At SummerSlam 2024 last weekend, Bron Breakker once again challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship after coming up short for the title back at WWE Money In The Bank earlier this year. At SummerSlam, he would come away with the victory this time around, defeating Zayn in a short match.

While speaking to Bron's father Rick Steiner backstage at the event, Bill Apter of Sportskeeda asked for Rick's reaction to Bron coming away with the time.

"I didn't know what to expect. You know, I've been watching stuff and Zayn's a pretty tough kid. But watching the match, my biggest thing is, you know, a lot of things is up and down, sideways, whatever the match goes. You know, he came out the victor, got the belt, he's the champ, and that's all that matters. So I'm happy. I mean, I can always sit back and say, well, we could have done this better and work on this and work on that, but, that'll be for next time. But, you know, as far as I'm concerned for tonight, I thought he did great. He's a champ, and I love it."

Breakker is currently scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Championship for the first time on the August 13th edition of Monday Night RAW in a two out of three falls match with Zayn. You can read more about that here.
