Ricky Starks took to social media to clarify that he's never turned down any AEW creative. Ever.
Users on X/Twitter were arguing over Starks' position in the company and reports regarding his creative direction.
The user wrote, "The fact that his attitude when given the smaller opportunities was to pout and disagree with creative is the main reason why he didn't get bigger shots."
Starks replied, "Enough is enough. Usually I don’t even speak on this but it’s tired. I never turned down anything, EVER. Just Stop."

Starks hasn't wrestled since the March 30th episode of AEW Collision when he and Big Bill lost to Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) in the AEW Tag Team Title tournament.
Tony Khan said on August 22nd that Starks is still under AEW contract.
It is unknown if or when Starks will return to AEW TV.
