King of the Ring update from WWE Raw.
In the first match on Monday's Raw, Ricochet scored a surprising victory over Drew McIntyre in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. "The Scottish Psychopath" was one of the favorites to win the tournament, but Ricochet used his speed and superior athleticism, putting away McIntyre with the 630 Splash.

Later in the night, Baron Corbin punched his ticket to the second round, defeating The Miz. Corbin managed to kick out of the Skull Crushing Finale before scoring the victory with the End of Days.

As a result of their respective victories, Ricochet and Corbin will compete in quarterfinal action on the Sept. 2 episode of Raw. Ricochet will battle Samoa Joe, who defeated Cesaro in the first round while Corbin will meet Cedric Alexander, who picked up a first round victory over Sami Zayn.
The first round of the King of the Ring will conclude on Tuesday's SmackDown when Buddy Murphy faces Ali and Chad Cable squares off against Shelton Benjamin.
