Ricochet reflects on how far he and Will Ospreay have come.
Before Ricochet signed with WWE, he was a buzzworthy competitor on the open market, and he faced Will Ospreay in some thrilling matches. Several years later, Ricochet is an established member of the WWE roster, and Ospreay is becoming one of AEW's top stars.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez at a media event ahead of WWE WrestleMania XL, Will Ospreay came up in the conversation. Ricochet was asked to comment on how it feels to know that they are where they are now, compared to where they used to be.
“It’s awesome. I remember working with him years ago when he first started, to see where he’s at now, it’s cool to see the trajectory. Again, just knowing from when I started to where I’m at now, this here’s crazy. We’re here, we’re on this side of it. It’s just crazy. I didn’t even start this career to get to this position. I just started wrestling because it was fun, and it kept me off the streets, and it was just something I liked to do. So the fact that he and I both are now where we’re at in our respective areas, it’s so cool, man. We’re very blessed," Ricochet said.
Ospreay has been featured on AEW programming in recent weeks. He is set to face Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty on April 21.
