Rikishi Says WrestleMania Match Between The Usos Would Be Historic, Teases Potential WWE Return

Rikishi comments on potentially getting involved in The Bloodline storyline.

The Bloodline previously featured Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa, and the group reigned supreme over WWE. Over the last several months, the group has evolved, as Jey Uso left the stable, and Jimmy Uso returned to it after he initially turned on Reigns. In recent weeks, Jimmy Uso has interfered in two of Jey's matches, and fans continue to buzz about a potential WrestleMania match between the duo.

Speaking with Jamal Niaz at For The Love of Wrestling (via Monopoly Events), The Usos' father Rikishi was asked about the potential match, with Niaz noting that Rikishi could be in Jey's corner.

“I’ve been hearing that over the last 16 hours since I’ve been here signing for the Love of Wrestling fans. ‘Are you coming back?’ I go, ‘What are you talking about?’ ‘We need you to come back to settle this drama going on between your kids.’ I’m like, I don’t know. I really don’t know. Will it happen? Maybe. Can it happen? Of course. But is that what the fans want? Is that what The Bloodline wants? Is that what the WWE wants? So in the meantime, I’m kind of on the sidelines. I’m just, I don’t want to say patiently waiting, but I’m on the side," Rikishi said.

The Rock's return to WWE also came up in the conversation, as Niaz noted that Rikishi could reunite with him if he gets involved in The Bloodline storyline. Rikishi noted that the family seems divided, and someone needs to lay down some law and order.

“It seems like the family has just been going at it. I feel that people in the wrestling world, let’s face it, there’s no perfect family, whether you’re in the wrestling business or whatever business. But to be able to see this dynasty go back and forth, it’s entertaining to a lot of people. The family’s just kind of going divided, you know what I mean? There needs to be some type of law and order. Somebody needs to pull it down and say, ‘This is what it is.’ So I don’t know, we’ll see," he said.

Later in the interview, Rikishi discussed his sons' success and brought up the potential WrestleMania match. He stated that the bout would be a historic moment, though he noted that it needs a piece of the puzzle to complete it.

“At the end of the day, I look forward, if this dream match happens at WrestleMania, man, it would be a historical moment. Not only for the boys, to be able to finally get their wish to headline or be a part of WrestleMania together, and let’s see. There needs to be a piece of the puzzle to complete that, and I’ll leave it at that," Rikishi said.

Jey Uso recently said he wants to main-event WrestleMania with Jimmy Uso, and he would like Rikishi to be involved. Check out hos comments here.
