Rob Van Dam Praises The "5 Star Wrestling" Promotion And Discusses The Wear & Tear That He Has Put On His Body Over The Years

RVD looks to put on a great show for the fans in attendance for the "5 Star Wrestling" event next week.

Next Thursday, former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam, will be competing alongside names like Johnny Mundo, Jack Hager (Swagger) and Carlito at 5 Star Wrestling's event in Aberdeen, Scotland. Van Dam has some high praises for the promotion, stating that it is one of the fastest rising promotions in the United Kingdom and would also discuss what he has put his body through over the years, all in an interview with the Evening Express.

The Young Bucks Say AEW Is Too Chaotic, Will Now Be Working From Home

“5 Star wrestling is the hottest, newest, fastest growing company in the United Kingdom. Everyone is very excited by it and there will be wrestlers like myself, Rey Mysterio and Chris Masters in action. We are talking about bringing a lot of guys I know over from the United States as well as many superstars from the UK.”

With over 30 years of experience in the business, RVD has taken a great deal of punishment throughout his years on the mat. At 47 years old, "The Whole Dam Show" feels that he still has a lot left in the tank.

“I have been wrestling almost 30 years now and it has definitely taken its toll, on my body, but also my mind and spirit." Van Dam added, "I always said my body would hold up longer than my passion and it did. I feel like I am a lot tougher than the other guys but I still have lots of bodily reminders of my career. Now I pick and choose when I leave home; whether that is wrestling, acting, I do stand-up comedy or whether it is an autograph-signing appearance.”
