The Rock says no to Cody Rhodes' challenge for a singles match but offers a high-stakes rebuttal.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Cody Rhodes challenged The Rock to a one-on-one match at any time prior to his match with Roman Reigns on the second night of WrestleMania 40. The Rock responded to this challenge during his appearance on the March 1 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown and declined the singles match.
Instead, The Rock offered Cody Rhodes a tag team match. On the first night of WrestleMania, Rock wants to team up with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns against the tandem of Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

This will be no ordinary tag match.
If Seth and Cody win, then The Rock has promised that Cody's match with Roman Reigns on the second night of WrestleMania will be completely free of The Bloodline. However, if the Rock and Roman Reigns are successful, the main event of the second night of WrestleMania will be an Anything Goes Match dubbed "Bloodline Rules."
The Rock has guaranteed that if it comes to the second option, all Bloodline members will be involved and do anything in their power to stop Cody Rhodes from finishing his story.

The Rock says he wants an answer from Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the March 8 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Should the challenge be accepted, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will become the first two competitors ever to headline simultaneous nights of WrestleMania.
After the challenge, The Rock acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief.
